Damsel in distress, the helpless woman. how many times again?

THIS IS NOT A RANT. A SIMPLE DISCUSSION REGARDING THE TOPIC AT HAND. AND THIS IS NOT SAYING THIS CHAPTER SUCKED.... BECAUSE THIS CHAPTER TO ME WAS EPIC. THIS IS ALSO NOT BLAMING KISHIMOTO OR BASHING HIM.... BUT ONLY POINTING OUT A FLAW IN THE MANGA.


How many times is this crap going to be repeated? Anyone got guesses?
This whole female getting moved to the side/getting saved/being helpless, has happened too many times now.. I just find it annoying by now.


Sakura's development = got thrown into the garbage can.

Part 1 climax = needed to rely on Naruto, and was begging for Sasuke's return

Part 2 climax = Same shit over.

I honestly was hoping for Sakura to say some stuff about Naruto and how he worked so hard.. but instead got a love letter... well then. Horrible dude Kishimoto messed up on Sakura's character big time by now. See this wouldn't be a problem, if she wasn't part of team 7. However, the constant "Wanking" (just means the attention , not as in the term used for fanboys wanking) by kishimoto regarding Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi... just led me to take pity/ like Sakura's character. She honestly became the "underdog" from team 7 to me. And the mere fact that KAKASHI got more development than Sakura in the war.. just i don't even know right nowman. X_X

How is someone who is supposed to be the next generation getting less development/screentime than her teacher, who is supposed to help her go further? :dunno:


Isn't just Sakura:

We still don't have an independent female character that can take charge of her own people/group except Tsunade. People like claiming "konan" or "mei".... sorry but mei got trolled harder when it came to the "helpless woman" or "Damsel in distress". Only epic moment mei had was when her and the other kages came to the juubi battlefield, and order people to attack the god tree. Any other female from K11 worth mentioning? uh not really.



Discusion and conclusion:

Point being is that kishimoto right now has played this "helpless woman" card too many times, especially with the lead female character. And by this point even if you are not a sakura fan, but just a normal reader, you MIGHT also find it annoying by now.

So , do you think this is an overused thing by kishimoto now?
Did all her development really just got ignored?

ahah you don't even have to consider, She does. Tsunade eclipses ALL THE FEMALE CHARACTERS in regards to development in this manga.... and she ain't even in the top spots when it comes to development..

Sakura would've been "decent" or good developed if he hadn't thrown all her progression away in this chapter.. actually he started doing that while back. And now shes back to square 1, the "helpless spare part" of team 7.

I agree, all her supposed growth as a character was thrown in a trash can this chapter. The same words, the same tears, and the same helplessness all over again, Kishi seems to be too lazy to put an effort into developing her resolve/mental strengh. Even if he wanted to make a parallel, There was was a million way for him to draw the parallel between part1 and part2 beside this one.

Umm Kishi has sheeted on the women of Naruverse since the beginning, I mean the "strongest" woman of the verse was reverted to a brainless and tactless cabbage. Best women you have after her in terms of power that is cannon is Tsunade/Mei, yet those 2 don't really hit top tier list. Most shoenn are like this, but at least some don't degrade the women to such extremes imo.

it's not only women,each character that kishimoto forced to have an out of blue care for sasuke no matter what he does,ruined them completely,even orochimaru didn't escape that.
