It's the US, I don't know if the surgery's covered under insurance or they have to pay for it. The law/cover varies state by state. The secondary problem is a mental one associated with fullfilling his carnal desires, it may also play a part in him not having surgery.
At first doctors were worried that going through surgery could cause him to bleed out or whatever other complications. Especially with him being overweight. But this video was uploaded around 2014 if I remember right and the guy had already gotten it removed. Though he wasn’t able to walk due to a nerve that was cut,so he had to relearn to walk. Not sure if he’s able to walk now since I haven’t seen any update to the story.
