People say this because of Kakashi. When Sakura went to "kill" Sasuke she intended to use a poisoned Kunai. Kakashi told her it probably wouldn't have worked anyway because Orochimaru most likely trained Sasuke's body to be resistant to strong poisons. And since Orochimaru usually medicates his students and test subjects, it seemed logical that he used the same method to bolster Sasuke's resistances.

Just because Sasuke deplores the method doesn't mean he did t undergo at least this much. But true, it isn't fact that Sasuke took drugs under Orochimaru just highly speculated.

It shouldn't even be speculated just making someone immune to poison isn't gonna boost their speed strength and stuff to that level. It's been 3 1/2 year's of training for Sasuke and he's a fast learner that shouldn't have been a surprise for someone that had potential to "surpass" Madara. Besides Sasuke was doing actual fighting and that helps people develop faster than just training Kabuto made that clear.
