[Discussion] Damn dragon ball gt really mess up dbz

I just realize right now that gt wasnt even connected even a small chance to dbz i thought that gohan is hopeless and trunk and goten. But i guess they could change it. Thats how gt really mess up my head.

Didn't like gt at all, the fight choreography was lame,(I know most fights in dbz are just frame recycles but at least they had good ones like cell vs goku, vegeta vs goku in the buu saga) all dbgt fights where punch frame recycles and huge blasts. I prefer dbs over gt. The pacing of dbs is excellent imo compared to the slight filler and scream for 7 episodes pacing of dbz(anime)and the snooze fest that was gt

GT was crap. At least DB super has come connections to DBZ. The nostalgia may be playing to effect.

I agree Super 17 arc is BS but Baby saga and Dark Dragon saga is good.

And DBS sure had connection directly to DBZ bcus Toriyama recognize it but not GT. With all effort put by GT producer, I like it.

DBS has a lot of power inconcistences and is a more childish series. Anyone who views it can tell that its more to a children public. But to kids, it's just as special as Z. While GT got treated like shit in japan.

To me, Super is a good continuation to Z, taking into account that it is for children and is missing some of Z's ingredients, while GT is just very bad.

It's all about opinions... but it's flawless failure in japan does say something. It got taken down at chapter 64 for the sake of the viewers, lol. It was planned to have more chapters, but it was so bad that it couldn't.
