Damn, Boruto chapter 8 was lit.

I gotta say that the new author upped his game on the drawing aspect, Naruto look sick as hell, especially when he activated his RSM and reacted to momo looking like a Super Saiyan, and Momo had a much better design from the movie and damn Kurama and PS looked beast.

Naruto and Sasuke's action was greatly shortened but it was cool, Naruto sent momo flying with and elbow/kick combo and Sasuke jumped in and falcon punched him to the ground.

And lol it took one PS slash to finish him off, Naruto could've easily smacked a mini senjutsu tbb rasengan on his face and Sasuke could've chopped him in half with a chidori spear but nerf is nerf.

Shadow binding shouldn't stop Gaara, Naruto or Sasuke because they can use their techniques without moving (Sand,Kurama arms and Susanoo respectively) but they gotta let boruto be the hero so nerf is nerf.

Overall tho it was the best chapter so far, ikemoto came a long way from chapter 1.

Momoshiki's design is better apart from the horns. I'll always prefer the movie horns... the Boruto ones look like oversized brazil nuts. He also hasn't really improved very much - only a little. Naruto still looks pretty much the same in his RBSM as he did back in the CE chapter.

That said, it was fun seeing him merk the Kages.

My favorite part of the chapter was the last few panels. People were giving Sasuke shit for bringing along Boruto, but Ikemoto explained it in a way that was reminiscent of something Sasuke would do. I think he captured his character perfectly in a scene which was not in the original Movie, or Novel.

Plus I liked the fact that Boruto is doing this on his own instead of being baby-spooned. Sasuke believed in him, despite the fact that he doesn't believe in himself. So he wants to test that belief and do what he can.

Other than that I enjoyed seeing the Gokage getting bodied in like a few seconds. I kind of wish we got to see Sasuke move a bit more (Naruto shined more in this chapter), but I think it's because Sasuke gets to help finish off Momoshiki next chapter with Boruto, so it meets halfway.

Hopefully they can fit the epilogue next chapter so that the recap ends.

Yeah, I kinda preferred Boruto's resolve in the manga better, unlike the movie where he had to be told what to do by Sasuke.

Next chapter is going to Master-Student action, I'm curious to see how ikemoto depicts it in his adaptation.

Yeah, the previous Gokage went through that experience too(Madara).
