Dark is one of the more peculiar elements, it works by using these markings inscribed on the palms of our hands to absorb energy based techniques, only to use the chakra to fuel a completely new substance (the "dark" we release" ). The absorbtion portion of the CE is weak to water and Earth because they're not energy based and the release is strong to anything based on energy. I plan on using it by combining it with Fuuin for a different twist.

Good, now Dark Release has quite a few techniques so we'll go with analysis of the technique.

We'll start with Inhaling Maw, as its the basis of Dark Release.

Description: The user uses their dark release to forcibly extract the physical and spiritual energy (chakra) of another ninja and absorb it through the upper square of the mark on his left hand, which can then be used to perform Dark Release: Judgment.
Note: Can absorb up to A-Rank Wind, Fire and Lightning techniques, S-Rank raw chakra or C-Rank Water, all within reason. Has no effect on Earth techniques.



A technique where you will absorb the energy based attack through the upper square in the marks on your left hand. Pretty simple, elaborate a bit on it for me.

Inhaling Maw

Basically all the user needs to do is put there hand out and focus their chakra into the seal, and absorb any energy based technique. There's really not that much more to it, except that this is the basis for all other dark techniques.

Evil Black Aura

After using Inhaling Maw in order to gain fuel for future dark techniques, all you do is release a wave of dark energy and that's it basically.

Darkness Wave

Basically the same as the second one really, wave your hand and you release another wave of dark...like I really don't know what to say to make it seem more elaborate, lmao

Description: The user can make small dark release energy blasts, shields or any form he wishes to make through the usage of dark release. However, it's not a solid matter as its substance is almost like Wind Release.

A simple technique made canon by Ryujin, where you will be able to make small blasts of Dark Release. Pretty simple and straightforward. And its basically like the Wind release basic technique, which allows for some freedom.

Chakra: 20 (-40 chakra points to the enemy)
Damage: N/A
Description: By activating the absorption mark in one of his hands and touching an enemy, the user is able to absorb up to 40 chakra points on contact. This chakra can then be used to fuel release-type Dark Release techniques.



A technique where you will absorb the opponent's chakra, and use it to fuel later techniques. Another simple one that is straightforward as hell.

Description: By gathering dark chakra into both their hands, the user can then unleash a powerful and focused shock wave that, when it hits a person close range it could cause tremendous internal damage.

Gather your Dark based chakra into both of your hands, and unleash a focused Shock wave, which blasts the opponent back with quite some force. Blunt force trauma, causing internal damage and all, and Long range reach.

Dark Release Technique

Basically the basic creation technique for Dark Release, every element has one since it's essentially the root of the field. Absorb some chakra before hand, then utilize your mark to create tools, shield, or concussive blasts. My question is why does it have that restriction if it's only a C-Rank? Do they not edit the donated CJs to be more like canon?

Draining Touch

Touch your opponent and use your seal to deain their chakra/energy which can be used for other Dark tehniques, pretty simple. Could be cool for something like CQC, but they'd most likely start using chakra too.

Revival Fist

Gather Dark on both your hands, and release a wave of energy capable of dealing a good amount of internal damage. Pretty simple, but this requires you to drain a technique beforehand, which I most likely won't be doing since this is one of the weaker ones.

Description:
The user will spread his arms to the sides and point his palms outwards in opposing directions, activating his absorption squares in both his hand markings. As he does, a radial vortex-like effect is creating towards each hand. By doing this, the user is able to defend from attacks (following the elemental weaknesses and strengths of the KG) that are thrown at him from all directions, as the vortexes will direct them to the markings. However, if the user fails to keep both arms and markings perfectly opposed to each other, the vortexes will become unstable and fail.



Now, a technique where you will spread your arms to the sides, point your palms outwards and activate the absorption squares. This creates a radial vortex effect around you, allowing you to take in techniques from all around you. However, you have to remain stable or the technique will fail.

Description: The user converts the absorbed chakra from the Dark Release: Inhailing Maw and then releases it into light blue flames, turning it back on their enemies with amplified strength to blow them away. The flames are expelled through the lower square mark on their left hand.

After absorbing some chakra with Inhaling Maw, you unleash it back towards the opponent in form of light blue flames. This is released from the lower square mark, and is quite useful as well.

Description: This is a stronger version of the Dark Release technique. The user can shoot dark release energy blasts, shields or any kind of shape through the usage of the Dark Release but on a larger scale than the standard Dark Release technique.

A more powerful version of the Dark Release technique, where you will be able to shoot blasts of Dark Release, create shields and shapes for various purposes. Fairly useful as well.

This is a really cool one (besides the whole, stay still thing). By holding your hands out and using your Dark chakra, you'll create a vortex around your person that absorbs relatively anything that comes within proximity. These techniques will be swept up by the currenrs and directed into your markins, so I would assume the stuff you absorb can be used for future techniques?

Judgement

Absorb a technique with the standard absorbtion, then utilize the left hand's bottom square to release a blast of blue flames. Asids from aesthetics, it's pretty basic, nothing to flashy but it's also not useless. Cool.

Greater Dark Release Technique

A better version of the one from the last reply, this allows you to create blasts, shields, concussive blasts, and tools utilizing Dark chakra on a bigger scale. Not much else to say since I basically already learned this, lmao

Nah, I believe that one is for purely defensive uses, unfortunately. However, CJ potential :)

Anyway, let's move on.


Type: Defensive

Description:
The user, when facing an attack, will clap his hands together and separate them right after. As he separates his hands, a small dark sphere will be between them. The user maintains his hands close to sustain the small sphere while it siphons any enemy technique or enemy chakra within range towards itself. The sphere is a "void" made by activating both absorbing markings in the users hand at the same time and opposing them to each other, which creates this effect. This technique is essentially a more advanced and powerful version of Dark Release: Inhaling Maw and enables the user to absorb higher ranked techniques. However, when used, the user needs to wait one turn to use Dark Release absorption related techniques.



When faced with an attack, clap your hands together and separate them right after. A small dark sphere forms between them, which siphons an enemy attack, when it comes into range (short range). The sphere is like a mini "void" that is made by activating both markings at the same time, and opposing them to each other. It can absorb higher ranked stuff, but you need to wait one turn to use Dark Release absorption related techniques.

To do this, the user releases chakra from the markings in both his hands.

Now this technique is a stronger version of Judgement. You will convert the absorbed chakra from either Inhaling Maw, or Ultimate Inhaling Maw, and release it into blue flames. These are unleashed onto the opponent with amplified strength, and blows them away. This is done by releasing chakra from markings on both hands.

Description: This jutsu works in similar fashion to rasengan. By releasing and gathering dark chakra into one of the users hands, the user can create a dark orb with two dark rings around it (giving an atomic look). The user will then plow the orb into the opponent, resulting in the opponent being with tremendous bone shattering force.
Note: Must have absorbed enemy techniques before using



Basically a Dark Release Rasengan. You will release and gather Dark chakra into one of your hands, and then create a dark orb, with two rings around it. This is then blasted into the opponent, causing quite some blunt damage (requires you to have absorbed some chakra before hand).

Ultimate Inhaling Maw

You basically covered it, clap your hands and create a black, chikbaku tensei-esque orb. This orb absorbs everything in it's direct vicinity within reason, and that's basically it. Quick question though, can I move around while i'm maintaining this orb?

Ultimate Judgement/Super Revival Fist

Judgment requires you to absorb a technique before hand, your process the chakra and use it as fuel for your next attack which is a huge blast of blue flames. Nothing different or unique, but it requires the usage of two hands. Revival Fist is pretty plain, you absorb a technique then use it to create a ball of Dark chakra in order to thrust it into your opponent. I'm not a fan of getting close, so i'd probably never use this if we're being honest.
