*Awaits for Senpai*
I guess I should start by explaining what Katon is?
*Takes a deep breath*
In the Naruto Universe, Katon is one of the 5 basic elements. The user charges chakra through the stomach and releases it via the lungs and mouth to create a strong force charging towards the victim. Katon is mostly used as a offensive attack because of the explosive damage it causes, and the radius of the attack is to a long distance. However, there is an exception of an advanced chakra nature called Blaze Release (Enton) Where the user manipulates one of the strongest Katon jutsu's Amaterasu, as a form of a outer shield for a defensive purpose. It is mostly affiliated with the Tiger Hand seal, and Katon chakra is most commonly found among Shinobi in the land of fire, while the Uchiha clan hold it as a natural affinity.
- Katon is strong against Futon, Because the air fuels the fire and causes a stronger repulsive force.
- Katon is weak against Suiton, Because the latter smothers and extinguishes the fire. However, a high rank Katon would collide with Suiton and cause evaporation. Katon could also be used with Futon to overcharge the power and displace a low-leveled Suiton attack.
- Katon is a component of Yōton, when mixed with Doton.
- Katon is a component of Futton, when mixed with Suiton.
In a scientific point of view, Fire is a form of of thermal energy, as it produces light and generates heat. Hence, it can be used as a candle to provide light, or used in a furnace to provide heat. However, fire is very combustive and can easily trigger a disaster. It is made from three elements. Heat, Oxygen and Fuel. However, some other material, such as Oil, could be used to produce a chain reaction, eventually causing a massive explosion. Therefore, Fire is an oxidizing compound. Naturally, water would extinguish fire in the real world, just as the same in the Naruto universe. A strong push of wind would scatter the flames and cause more fires in a certain area, but would also put out tiny fires such as a candlelight. Fire can not be manipulated in real life as it can in the Naruto Universe, but if a fire was to happen, it would be more of an offensive attack rather than a defensive, because no one is safe around a massive fire.
That should do it. *Takes out a bag of chips and starts eating*
