I split into two, and cross my hands.
When I uncross them, seals on my wrist release a sudden barrage of kunai with exploding tags and wires attached from it. Bringing both hands to my mouth, I gather all the wires along and breathe out a string of flame

Since the kunai explode against the wind cocoon, your vision is obscured by the explosion. When the Revolving Pain picks up the traces of fire I used and begins merging with it, your vision is ( again ) obscured because there is a literal wall of red and white flowing at high speeds in front of you.
Since we were at mid-range as you stated, there would be a time lag before the tornado reaches me.
When I notice your vision blocked by the fire tornado, both halves quickly break to the sides, one running to his left and the other to his right, so we are on the sides of your cocoon, unknown to you - since your hearing is also obscured by the whoosh of the wind and fire, and as the tornado expands, thrust our fists, releasing an angled bust of wind

As soon as the rain touches the moth, the electrically-charged hairs short out and electrocute it, much like an oversized bug zapper, while you, being on the moth are shocked by association, frying you as you fall of the moth which is auto-de summoned due to its injuries.
(clarification: never said I was on it, said it was summoned in front of you)

If you weren't ON the moth, then you basically fell from a height and splatted yourself on the ground, especially since you were tossed into the air with your own jutsu and didn't do anything to stop it :|
So apparently, I hath won this fight.
So what your saying is, as a ninja, i cant moderate how i use my jutsu, and how my jutsu's power is used. if you actually read my move you would understand that i threw myself at you in an arc, trying to roll you over in fire. but you countered it. meaning the vortex was stopped near you, and I reacted to such by sumoning the moth, who would literally be in yo face.
I wasnt far from the ground, just high enough to smash you in a fiery vortex.
What I'm saying is, you never said you would be thrown to a moderate height =.=
