No blows, type on a screen from a bitter child.
expression hidden behind a pixel mask
we say we are laughing, but are we?

Friends scattered around a globe.
at our fingertips, but out of reach.
look but don't touch.
Our mortal essence trapped in metal and plastic.
Barriers breaking our basic bonds.
Are we humans or machines?

Big talk and little substance.
Empty frivolous spite.
Upsetting strangers for no gain.
Hidden tears of victims
and unnecessary pain.​
