I'd like to think that I haven't broken any rules yet. But if I did then I apologize. Though I haven't seen as many violent or negative comments towards new people. And most of the times I've seen someone attacked was because they either said something stupid or were clinging to fanboyism.

I honestly think that it does not matter what year or gen, a certain member is from. It is more about how they decide to act individually so the gen of 2012 shouldn't be spoken about as a whole but certain members. Also, even though you cut them slack, you must make sure to deal with the situation in a way that you don't let it happen again.
