I take the scroll from Shade and read it. The scroll talks about various activities that the user must perform before learning the art. I start by completing each of the tasks one by one.
1. I quickly start jogging on the spot. As I do this, I swing rotate my arms to loosen them up. Once done, I kick the air to loosen my legs as well. After performing a set of push ups, I look at the scroll for the next task.
2. I then hold my new scythe in my right hand as I channel chakra throughout my body, and then into the weapon. I channel chakra into my head as I swing the blade, to feel the sudden rush of blood, like adrenaline rush. I swing the blade swiftly and fluently with great speed as I enjoy this new feel.
3. I then take out a small knife from my pocket and stab my thigh. The pain initially feels too much to bear. However over time, the pain reduces. I stab the knife again into my hand. This time, I feel the pain is lesser. I then take my scythe and stab myself in the back. I tolerate the pain as much as I could. I keep continue doing this till I no longer feel the same pain and till I am drenched with blood all over my body.
4. I then look at shade after reading the scroll. As he swings his blade horizontally, I wait for the opportune moment and then duck, thus avoiding the hit from the handle. The momentum of the swing would carry the blade further away from me and taking advantage of which, I lunge my scythe to his stomach area, stopping exactly an inch in front of it.
