1. Haka acts like a stronger killing intent + venom technique. So while the opponent is paralyzed, the venom would reach them if they do not defend. This works on anyone, regardless of rank as long as it is used by a jellyfish summon. Since i'm an unofficial sage, would it be an S-rank tech for me?
Jounin - D rank
S-Class - C Rank
Sannin - B Rank
Kage - A Rank
Sage - S Rank
You're a Kage, so it's A rank still xD Btw, don't forget, this technique can only be used by actual Boxes, you can't use this yourself.
2. Ta Moko enables a summon to extend its tentacle's reach. But if used by the summoner, the jellyfish is summoned onto them. So extending the tentacles from the summoner doesn't count as a move. What would the freeform rank of the tentacles be? B-rank for all attacks? The venom used is the standard venom described in the contract?
It does count as a jutsu, it's B rank. It just has the passive extra of summoning a box (Not just any box, a generic box with only half of the tentacles covered in nematocysts, so that the other half sits against your skin without poisoning you. If used by a normal Box, each time you post the technique, you spend chakra and are able to stretch up to 2 tentacles. For the human usage, you post the technique, perform 3 handseals and are then able to extend 2 tentacles. The box then sticks around for 3 turns, during which, every time you post the technique, no need for handseals now, and spend chakra, you can extend the tentacles twice again. If you decide to use the technique and extend just 1 tentacle, you need to post the technique again, and spend chakra again, in the next turn.
3. Fa'ataupati can only be used by boxes, does this mean only the summons?
Yes. You can't use the technique yourself. Every time it's about poison manipulation/creation, it's limited to Boxes (animal).
4. Woomera basically creates hand weapons out of nematocysts. This part..
"The nematocysts have only one autonomy, if the tips are stimulated, the injection mechanism is triggered, sending an infusion of Box venom directly related with the size of the nematocyst, otherwise, they're innanimate.
*charging chakra through the nematocysts while physically wielding them allows them to gain a certain steel-like quality, like a sword or a kunai. Throwing them or loosing physical contact will rever them back to soft organic material*"
I don't get. Is the charging chakra through them the same thing as stimulating the tips? o-o Could you elaborate?
1. Nematocysts have a certain stimuli-sensor, which triggers the harpoon-like injection. Which means, anytime anything touches the tip of an un-triggered nematocyst, it will trigger it and the spear will get ejected.
2. When you're in contact with the nematocyst, it acquires a metal density, and can be used as a sword. Once you throw it, it reverts back to the normal semi-rigid nematocyst, without any piercing abilities safe for the triggered spear that pierces the skin and injects the venom.
5. Box Arts: Wasp Mele, is pretty cool. Its function is similar to your Burglar Cat CJ; interrupting hand seals. Also dispersing shadow clones/basic summons is useful too. "*Can only be used by Boxes*" meaning only the summons can use it?
Yep, Wasp Mele is basically a chakra-efficient way to disperse clones and animals, as well as interrupt handseals. Obviously, it requires the technique to have at least 2 handseals and, depending on the distance of the box, it may require more than 2 handseals to actually interrupt the sequence.
And yeah, it's a form of Venom Manipulation, same as Fa'ataupati and Haka, thus it can only be performed by the boxes and not by you. Of course, they still count towards your jutsu count.
