I never told you this, but I actually thought I was gonna have to play hardball with you in that battle.. By far the hardest testy I had. ^_^

I would obviously have to use the technique when its raining xD, and I would use it to counter a fire technique shot at me and at the same time counter attack with the rain pebbles.
An advantage of this technique is that it can be used for both a defensive and offensive purpose, the power provided behind this technique could prove it strong enough to defend against a Forbidden ranked Fire technique without the use of the rain pebbles attack.
