While some materials may seem smooth to the naked eye, in the nano-scale, they're comprised of multiple irregularities and rough textures. When two materials drag on eachother, the inherited friction increases exponentially, superior than it would happen case the materials were virtually smooth. Applying the teachings of the basic Tree/Water Walking techniques, the user is able to create a thin layer of chakra across any surface of his/her own body. The chakra is thus able to cover or enhance the microscopic irregularities, thus increasing or decreasing the friction to extremes.</p><p></p><p>( Kato Enten ) Smooth Tadpole- The thin layer will get rid of the irregularities in one's body surface, allowing a nearly zero-friction surface. Given the natural flexibility and curvature of the user's own body, and allying it with well-timed motions, the user is able to become impervious to any physical attack, allowing it to slip off the side. The amount of dust raised is up to the users discretion, and could simply be the minimum amount required for the technique to work - and thus barely affecting the terrain, or it could even usher in a haze of airbourne earth particles that would reduce visibility. Once airbourne, the earthen particles can have additional chakra added to them, and through advanced manipulation they can undergo forced expansion so as to reach useful and manipulable sizes, expanding dust particles clumping together, and forming even larger aggregating expansions which can be shaped into constructs and tools according to the users desires. Up to two different constructs can be formed per activation, either individual constructs, or aggregational constructs (For instance a collection of spikes and a collection of boulders could be formed in the same turn, etc). These constructs can be utilized to attack or defend or for other purposes, and can be made to float regardless of mass, as the users constant drained chakra supply that is funneled into the dust (and by extension the created constructs) allows the user to maintain control and manipulate the tools, provided they do not perform any techniques above S rank. The brilliance of this technique is that, the user is capable of utilizing this within Iwagakure without the need of raising earthen particles, and instead utilizing the naturally airbourne earth particles. Utilization within Iwagakure means that the turn based chakra drain only occurs should the user choose to sustain a construct, otherwise this technique is simply activated through use of this technique, skipping out on the raising of dust and forming the constructs directly from the earthen particles.</p><p>~ Can only be used 3 times per battle, however a maximum of five activations can occur per battle. Meaning, that creating dust and earthen particles can be done 3 times but it is possible to use this dust once created, up to 5 times. </p><p>~ Earth particles can only be activated once per turn so as to form constructs, with each activation counting as a technique (Except for the turn in which this technique is first used). The golum can manipulate earth or water(depending on what he is created from) at the users will, thus he can use all jutsu from that element, furthermore because o his manipulation over that element he can stop the opponent from using jutsu of that element. Utilizing basic yin yang knowledge, if the user has learned it, he can form a golum made of water and earth, having all the golums abilities for both elements, this is an S rank jutsu though. While any ninja can do this simple movement, this technique takes it to another level by, through training, combining it with chakra and making it that much faster, combining the muscle strength with focusing chakra into the limbs. This specific set of movements consists on rolls, either back rolls, front rolls or side rolls (also called strifes or strifing rolls). The user will charge his muscles and take a lower stance, while using the strength of his body to either do a lateral roll, a front roll, or a back roll, with or without the use of his hands. The roll can be done on the ground (shorter but faster) or by jumping and rolling at the same time (longer but slightly slower). The speed of the rolls is directly proportionate to the skill the user has in Taijutsu and can be enough to dodge certain techniques/attacks if the ninja is skillfull enough. The user of the technique would perform but a single hand seal before making changes in the air which is surrounding the specific body/entity. By changing the pressure (in the air) around them they would cause for change in their trajoctory. Increasing the pressure at the specific part of the entity would cause for increase in speed on that side and decreasing the pressure points at specific parts of the air would cause for decrease in speed in that direction. By changing the amount of pressure in the air applied to the specific parts of the body of the entity would actually cause a change in direction. This could also be applied to taijutsu to a certain degree or when someone is in motion by releasing chakra around the specific part of their body. Familiars are a product of the users chakra, and therefore effectively operate as an extension of the user and the users chakra in and of itself; this technique seeks to passively strengthen and exploit this intrinsic chakra-based connection between a familiar. Through amplification and exploration of this connection, two major effects are achieved. The first is that familiars will be capable of sustaining techniques in place of the user. Techniques that the user would normally sustain can instead have their management handed over to the familiar in question, provided that the element matches. For instance, a earth familiar could not sustain a lightning technique for the user, but they could sustain a earth technique for them, freeing the user up to use other techniques.Familiars exist as a physical extension of the users will, working in their best interests and so on, this ability takes advantage of this, and the fact that Familiars also exist as physical manifestations of a certain abilities and - by amplifying the bridge between will, the ability that Familiars are formed of, and connected to, manages to create a stronger intrinsic bond that allows for not only transfers of sustaining, but also complete transfers of ownership, and any physical manifestations or representations that a sustained technique may have, onto a familiars being. Because of the inherent relationship, a transferred technique will maintain any effects and alterations even if it is outside of the now-sustaining Familiars domain of control, i.e a Fire technique imbued with the leiden-frost water effect will maintain this effect even when being managed by a Fire familiar to which its restrictions (if any) will now apply, but obviously the familiar would not be able to use the technique of its own accord, only have it and its effects preserved and maintained during a transfer. The second ability granted, is that boosts and alterations activated by the user will also apply to techniques used by the familiar should they be of the corresponding element - for instance a water boost activated by the user that boosts water techniques, would also link in to benefit the familiar, boosting their water by an equal amount to or applying the same alteration. This applies to boosts and alterations used both during and after the creation of the familiar, and the inverse is also true for both abilities, should a lightning familiar activate a lightning boost then the user will also benefit from the boost, as the familiar, boost, and user all share the same chakra, and as a result Ragnarok connection inexplicably links them. The Ragnarok Connection can only be applied to one familiar at a time, as attempting to apply it to more than one at the same time has been known to weaken the connection to an extent that it becomes unreliable and faulty. Also, if the familiar has a chakra cost, then the ragnarok connection will double the chakra cost used. Unlike turning an active armor into a separate sentient entity, the user would be able to wear a sentient or non-sentient familiar like an armor. Same with Outcast, when the user wills it, the sentient familiar splits to bits of itself and converge around the user, forming a fitted armor around him. For example, earth would split to million bits(dust), water splits to mist, etc., and form back around the user as a armor. The armor would have the same ability, strength and durability the familiar has and it would also require the same chakra needed to sustain the familiar, to sustain the amor.</p><p>An alternative usage of this ability is instead of the user choosing the familiar to form an amor around him, he may will it that they merge with him thus the user's body become's more or less the property of the familiar itself. The characteristic however, is only noticeable on the outer appearance of the user. His skin becomes more like earth spear technique if he merges with earth familiar, His skin becomes blinding like an active flash bomb when he merges with lightning familiar etc. The user's body also gets the strength and durability of the familiar. The amount of dust raised is up to the users discretion, and could simply be the minimum amount required for the technique to work - and thus barely affecting the terrain, or it could even usher in a haze of airbourne earth particles that would reduce visibility. Once airbourne, the earthen particles can have additional chakra added to them, and through advanced manipulation they can undergo forced expansion so as to reach useful and manipulable sizes, expanding dust particles clumping together, and forming even larger aggregating expansions which can be shaped into constructs and tools according to the users desires. Up to two different constructs can be formed per activation, either individual constructs, or aggregational constructs (For instance a collection of spikes and a collection of boulders could be formed in the same turn, etc). These constructs can be utilized to attack or defend or for other purposes, and can be made to float regardless of mass, as the users constant drained chakra supply that is funneled into the dust (and by extension the created constructs) allows the user to maintain control and manipulate the tools, provided they do not perform any techniques above S rank. Familiars are a product of the users chakra, and therefore effectively operate as an extension of the user and the users chakra in and of itself; this technique seeks to passively strengthen and exploit this intrinsic chakra-based connection between a familiar. Through amplification and exploration of this connection, two major effects are achieved. The first is that familiars will be capable of sustaining techniques in place of the user. Techniques that the user would normally sustain can instead have their management handed over to the familiar in question, provided that the element matches. For instance, a earth familiar could not sustain a lightning technique for the user, but they could sustain a earth technique for them, freeing the user up to use other techniques.Familiars exist as a physical extension of the users will, working in their best interests and so on, this ability takes advantage of this, and the fact that Familiars also exist as physical manifestations of a certain abilities and - by amplifying the bridge between will, the ability that Familiars are formed of, and connected to, manages to create a stronger intrinsic bond that allows for not only transfers of sustaining, but also complete transfers of ownership, and any physical manifestations or representations that a sustained technique may have, onto a familiars being. The second ability granted, is that boosts and alterations activated by the user will also apply to techniques used by the familiar should they be of the corresponding element - for instance a water boost activated by the user that boosts water techniques, would also link in to benefit the familiar, boosting their water by an equal amount to or applying the same alteration. For example, earth would split to million bits(dust), water splits to mist, etc., and form back around the user as a armor. An alternative usage of this ability is instead of the user choosing the familiar to form an amor around him, he may will it that they merge with him thus the user's body become's more or less the property of the familiar itself.
