Description and Background: Asura are considered to be demonic deities, gods and demi-gods that often have a humanoid appearance. They are attributed as deities of War, Blood, and Fire, and are known to have more than one set of arms. Asura deities are not all vicious and evil, however they are all ruthless, and ferocious. They are often known as gods of death and hold incredible destructive power. Asura’s are known to have varying sizes, some can appear as giants, being on a scale similar to perfect susano. While others have a more human-like size. Asura can have varying sets of arms in myth, some Asura gods are known to have over 10 sets of arms, while also having 3 heads.

Abilities and Traits:

- (Standard Ability) Blood Bond - Blood Link - Asura are heavily connected to blood manipulation, blood holding a stronger relevance to the contract in turn. Asura are heavily connected to their summoners through this blood link, being able to manipulate not only their own blood but also their summoners and vice versa as if it were their own. This blood link also allows the summon to sense their summoner and what goes on around them through the summoning tattoo, giving them a shared sense of sorts.


- (Standard Ability) Blood Bond - Empowered contract - The user and the Asura have a stronger link and bond due to the importance blood holds in forming the contract and the Asura's dominion over blood. This in turn creates a stronger contract between summoner and Asura. This allows Asura’s to manifest around their summoners in the form of condensed ‘Divine blood’, equal to their rank through their user’s summoning tattoo, this can be initiated by the summon, or the summoner. The asura becomes bound to the user, acting similarly to a type of Susano, maintaining all their abilities and specialties as a summon despite not actually being on the field physically. The summon and summoner share both a mental link and chakra link while in effect, and are able to perform differing actions, as the summon is still considered another entity. A summon cannot manifest this way if they already exist on the field, and while manifesting they count towards the summon count on the field, lasting for the usual turn count a summon is restricted too.


- (Standard Ability) Transcendent Physical Prowess - All Asura summons have improved physical traits and abilities. They have strength and physical energy beyond most, being able to perform all Blood, and Taijutsu related fields at +20 damage and + 10 chakra should the techniques use chakra, benefitting from these boosts passively.


- (Unique Ability) Divine blood - Asura are heavily connected to blood manipulation, holding a control and power above most. Asura are capable of using Blood techniques. Divine blood is inherently different, Their blood a deep red with shimmers of gold within, holding vitality beyond the norm. Capable of healing the Asura by 20hp per turn, their rank acting as health points, and in clashes, blood jutsu using this blood recover 20 damage should it not be overpowered completely, and continue to recover by 20 each turn should the technique last more than one turn. Should summoners have the naturalist speciality, they are able to produce this blood naturally within their own bodies.

The boost to taijutsu is passive, while only ‘Divine blood’ gains the +20 damage and +10 chakra, while standard blood does not benefit from this passive buff.


- (Unique Ability) Divine blood - Asura are heavily connected to blood manipulation, holding a control and power above most. Asura are capable of using Blood techniques as easy as breathing. Divine blood is inherently different however, The blood a deep red with shimmers of gold within. Unlike regular blood, Divine blood can only be controlled and manipulated by users of the Asura contract and the Asura themselves. Unlike the standard usual blood, 'Divine Blood' can be manipulated and used to perform all blood techniques without the need for Chakra, although this does not limit them from using chakra in their blood should they wish or need too. Blood techniques void of chakra become unable to be sealed, chakraless ‘Divine Blood’ is capable of shifting its properties that allows blood techniques to operate no differently despite the absence of chakra. Should summoners have the naturalist specialty, they are able to produce this blood naturally within their own bodies.
