Sasuke thinks in his head, "Konoha nin's must be so rich, interesting!" Sasuke gathered the dollars that rained upon him and stuffed it in his ninja pouch. "Hey there, fellow Uchiha. I'd like to learn it because Hades is my favorite greek god, and the technique itself is useful and also has offensive purposes. It's awesome!"
Good enough, okay.
Shadou nods his head a few times after listening to Sasuke's reason behind wanting to learn the technique. Shadou hadn't made many friends outside of the village of Konohagakure but the man he was about to teach his jutsu to was one of the few he could. Wasting no more time, Shadou withdraws a scroll with the details of his technique out of his pocket and throws it at Sasuke for him to go over. Showing a rare smile, Shadou begins to explain the basics of the technique.
Okay, this great katon technique known as the grasp of hades, involves both burning and trapping the opponent. To perform it you must gather a large amount of katon chakra and channel it to one of your feet. Once the katon chakra is focused in your foot, you will need to stomp on the ground you stand on and release your fire chakra into the ground. The fire will travel as a line across the ground towards the enemy. As the line of fire approaches the target, the line will split apart, heading towards either side of the opponent. The user will then manipulate the fire and mold it to take on form of two gigantic hands that rise upwards from the ground and then reach towards the opponent, grabbing onto the opponents ankles. Now while the hands are holding onto the opponents ankles, they will hold him in place while inflicting severe burns. The fire runs across the ground at a fast rate but manipulating the fire to take on the form of hands will take a few moments, so it’s best to use this technique on an already distracted opponent.

Sasuke paid attention as the Uchiha went over the basics of the technique. He made sure to take note of its many uses and its usefulness, while in his head began to create combinations suitable for the technique. He knew the technique would be useful, and since it is fire, it matches the Uchiha theme. Sasuke nodded his head showing that he understood and had no questions.

"Here, fellow Uchiha" Sasuke says with a grunt as he passes on the scroll to his clansmate.
- 1. Requires no handseals therefore it can be executed fairly quickly, quicker then most techniques and to add onto that, it appears from your target, not from the user.
- 2. When it burns through their skin, it would be hard for them to escape and also, since there it is a burning sensation it would cause slight damage legs
- 3. Since the target will be held into place, you can perform techniques from above, the side or straight out to deliver the finishing blow.
Disadvantages - 1. Cannot reach long range, which isn't that bad tbh.
- 2. Slamming your foot in the ground would indicate to your opponent that you would be performing a technique that would come from the ground
- 3. Can't think of any other disadvantages
Combos and Strengths As for the combo, i would start with this because not only does it deal damage but it holds onto them. After performing this technique, i would then use an earth technique because earth > water and my target would probably use water to escape from the hands. Maybe dropping lid to catch them from atop. Afterwards, i could use a finishing move, like a technique that would be fast enough to reach my opponent before the dropping lid falls, like pressure damage
Ways to counter/Weaknesses Countering would be using hurricane fist or something to get yourself away from the ground. Another way to counter would be using a B-rank water technique to extinguish the flames, pretty hard to counter tbh.
Perform the Technique
"Here, fellow Uchiha" Sasuke says with a grunt as he passes on the scroll to his clansmate.
After watching his friend and fellow Uchiha perform the technique, Shadou takes the scroll back from Sasuke. He takes a few moments to go over everything that Sasuke has learned of the technique and lets out a slight smile. Shadou then raises his head and locks his eyes with Sasuke's, giving him a nod of approval.
