Because people keep posting customs one after another(or three at the same time), we need time to read and approve/decline them.

Yes when they have approved or declined whichever customs that have been posted they re-open the thread...

Logically, why would we make a thread for only one day? If we wouldn't close it from time to time, at this rate the customs would pile up while we keep getting more and more behind.
