[Suggestion] Custom Biographies Thread

So I wanted to make a suggestion about custom biographies. Just think that I made Sosuke Aizen biography and after a few months, someone else wishes to make it. And I named the thread of the bio something else, so the other person needs to go through trouble in order find the actual owner of the biography.

So I suggest that a new thread should be created where a person is required to post his/her custom biography in it helping people to track of them. Also at the first post, it would be better if the bio names are hyper linked and are in alphabetic order. Can you guys please tell if this a good suggestion and can be implemented or not? This saves the hassle but increases the work load of the moderator responsible of updating 0_o

The search bar doesn't work by just the words in the title, but rather the words inside of the thread as well. So say if someone wanted to find the owner of the bio (Aizen for example) and you happened to have named the thread something else, the search engine would still include your thread under the specific words searched. From there, it's the responsibility of the one looking for it to comb through each thread, look at the dates in which they were approved etc.

This has been suggested before, and I think the final word on the matter was that the search bar works to find bios just fine, so a thread such as the one you're suggesting is unnecessary.

Also, you can always VM a RP mod to change the thread title if it's that much of a bother.

Actually, sometimes when I search for a bio using the search bar. I can't find the bio sometimes even though it has a owner, sometimes the bio is like pages away from the first page in the search bar.. Also advanced bar would be tough to use for newbies. They need time to get hang of it.

No. Far too much work for something that you could just know by using the search button. You completely disregard the fact that, unless someone would have so much time to check all 2000 approved bios, the list would never be complete, that people drop their bios all the time and that they change their NB users names too. Finally you also have the problem of when is a character now really 'owned' by someone and when not?

That amount of work that would be needed to make and monitor such a list would be ridiculously high compared to just using the search button, especially when that list will never be truly complete, which would require you to search either way for the character.

Also there isn't really anything difficult about the search bar.

Caliburn, if a member wanted to go through the trouble of compiling such a thread, would it be okay to post it in Konoha Town? You wouldn't have to sticky it or anything. Just making sure if someone did decide to do it, that it wouldn't be deleted or closed (assuming there is nothing rule-breaking in there).
