Stern and Upright, Proud, an humble Ryu has a calm deameanor and good sense of hummor often times finds himself going out of his way to help others, altho he has a bit a short fuse it normally subsides with a sincer appollogy, he has a good grasp on whats right an whats wrong, one of his biggest flaws is however he is verry shy, mostly spending his time alone training and honeing his skills. Above all he holds his familly and village with the highest regards.

History:
Ryuk was born into a realtively normal family, his father is a Iwa nin respected by most of the village as well as his mother, he is their only child, and they are often verry strict about his training not leaving much time for him to socialize and make many freinds, so most of his life has been constant training. When Ryu was 13 he graduated from the accademy an sent on his first mission with his mother and father to the Land of Fire, they were to join in on a joint opperation consisting of 3 teams of 3 and escort a Noble from his village to Konoha. After Reaching the village they met with the Noble and prepared to escort him to Konoha, Shortly before there departure one of the teams decided to go scout ahead, while the other Konoha Team stayed with the Noble. Ryu's Father never trusted the Konoha nin and decided not to leave the village untill the other team returned. After several hours the team returned and said the path to the village was clear, so they departed on their way, half way their Ryus father noticed the team in the back falling farther and farther behind but by that time it was too late before they had walked right in to their trap. The team in the front had placed explosive taggs all over the forest and was demanding they drop their weapons and surrender peacfully, they said the whole mission was a lie the Noble was nothing more than a shadow clone, and this was all orchistrated by Renji Of the Leaf, his fathers former freind who wanted revenge for the death of his wife Kamui, with the best intrest of Ryuk on their minds they threw down their weapons an fell to their knees, Ryuk shaking with fear threw down his weapon and fell beside them and said if you kill them you kill me too. Then out of the shadows they heard a voice "Pick up your mother's and your father's Sword's, you will not die here you will live so you can experience the same pain as I have felt". Ryuk picked up the swords then strugled to his feet, I WILL NOT LET YOU HURT THEM Ryuk shouted. The man said nothing an as if it were nothing pointed a finger from the shadows and ryuk passed out. When he awoke all that he saw was flames and blood staind grass, no sign of his mother or father anywhere he picked up the swords, and searched for day's for his parent but could not find a trace, shortly later he returned to the village and informed them of what had occured but they did not believe him, he was accused of abandoning them, he returned to his home alone vowing to never stop searching for them and never lose anyone agin this he swore with blood.
