"Hey Naruto, ever heard of the cursed corridors?"
Naruto was halfway finished devouring his rice and omelettes for lunch, when his friend approached and asked him about some curse.
"Cursed Cord? What?!" Asked Naruto, a mouthful of rice and eggs still in his mouth.
He didn't even bother to look up and meet eyes with his friend from beside the table as he was a little bit irritated at the idiot for disturbing him while he's eating. Only three more minutes before break's over and this idiot just had to run his mouth over some stupid curse. The only curse he's gonna get is if he arrives late for old hag Tsunade's math class.
"Cursed Corridor," Corrected Kiba, leaning over an unoccupied table from beside Naruto's.
"We're going to go to the fifth floor of this building later tonight to debunk it."
"Are you an idiot? There is NO fifth floor! This school only has four floors!" Naruto said, glaring at his 'friend' from his seat.
"Yeah, IF the rumors aren't true," Countered Kiba, a smug look etching its way from across his face.
Naruto didn't say anything in reply. Here this idiot was, blabbering about some stupid rumor, when fourty seconds from now, that hag's going to fry his ass in a broiler if he doesn't shut up! Damn, you Kiba.
"Aren't you the least bit interested at what I have to say? Weren't you the one who said mysteries turn you on?"
"Hey! I only said that to impress Hinata-chan!" Naruto said, pointing an accusatory index finger up at Kiba.
Kiba smirked at his friend, this guy was whipped, no doubt about it.
"Well, just your luck, Naruto. The girl you're trying to impress, is one of the many who took part in the investigation later tonight."
Naruto almost choked at the lone piece of egg that decided to lodge itself halfway in his throat. Is it true? His Hinata is coming? Tonight?! For real?
'This is my chance!' Screamed Naruto in his mind.
"So... uh, Kiba, good friend of mine, hehehe... Mind telling me about this so called rumor?
Kiba raised an eyebrow at his friend, he knew what had caused Naruto's sudden change in demeanour, he was easy to read, but why not poke fun in the situation a little bit?
"Gee, Naruto, when I first told you about my plans for tonight, you didn't give a shit. But after I brought up Hinata's name, you instanlty agree wholeheartedly."
"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you're completely and utterly whipped for that chi-"
"No, I'm not!" Naruto shouted all too suddenly, earning him a few glares and stares from the passing students.
"I'm only trying to impress her to get to Sakura-chan! And seriously, Kiba? Me liking that horrendous looking nerd? Get outta here! I'd rather die!" Naruto corrected a goofy looking smile present on his tanned face.
Yeah, no. That's not going to work Naruto. You're intentions are as clear as day.
"Now, are you gonna tell me about this rumor? Or are we just gonna waste time sitting here and make old hag Tsunade rage at us both?"
Kiba's eyes went wide. Shit, he forgot their next class is Tsunade sensei's.
"Good point," Kiba cleared his throat.
It was no use, they were already five minutes late for class anyway. Tsunade's gonna be super pissed.
"Anyway, it goes like this..."

Kiba's explanation wasn't all that informative, Naruto cursed. All that he could remember from that shitty children's fairytale that bastard Kiba told him was there's going to be some stupid secret floor that's going to appear at twleve midnight to connect the school's fourth floor to the haunted corridors that's known as the fifth floor, according to the rumors.
How people manage to get this bizarre kind of infromation was beyond Naruto. Logically, if this were true, then someone must have already been in the fifth floor and that someone manaaged to go back and was now acting as the source of these rumors.
All that? For this? Naruto asked him self whether or not listening to Kiba was such a good idea. Was it even worth it at all?
He was currently standing in the hallways looking like an idiot with two filled to the brim buckets of water tightly grasped in each of his hands. As expected, the old hag bit their assess off when they arrived late. What's worse is Kiba somehow managed to sneak inside the room while Tsunade was busy blasting his ass off with threats and insults. And she didn't even notice he was a late arrival himself. Damn that sly son of a-
