One thing i had noticed after re watching the Sasuke and
Danzo fight was that Sasuke got caught off guard by Danzo's
curse seal but that same arm belonged to Shin...now flash forward to the gaiden (unfortunately lol) the same thing happened but Shin tagged his katana and again he was caught off guard

Now my question is would Sasuke be in trouble if he fought a opponent that used cursed seals offensively???

I just wish sealing jutsu/curse seals was used more often they're easily one of the most powerful jutsus out there with very little weaknesses and with unique properties

Well actually no. Their weakness is simply that the target has to be stronger than the user in terms of pure chakra. So if your opponent is technically stronger/better than you then a seal won't last long, if at all. Also, what Shin did and what Danzo did were two completely different seals. One being a Mangekyou Power and the other being a fairly standard seal from the looks of it.

Two reasons.
1. Sasuke has a problem with underestimating his opponents.
2. His powers allow him to escape any situation..

If Sasuke used his brain in conjunction with his powers, he couldn't be tested.

The only problem i have with this is that both seals although different they still come from shin's arm...almost like KA with Itachi just because he used someones jutsu does that make it his own?

Valid points man because in both those fights with Danzo and Shin Sasuke engaged both of those guys with kenjustu and got caught off guard had he been a little more analytical i dont think he would be surprised by such tactics

Danzo was known to be talented with seals, and the seal that Shin used are different than the one Danzo used. Curse Seals also refers to several different types of Seals. For example, Sasuke's Curse Seal of Heaven that he gained from Orochimaru is one type where as the Hyuga Curse Seal that Neji had on his forehead are another Curse Seal. Not all Curse Seals are related to one character or Orochimaru's research.

Combine that with no actual proof that the Seal is a result of Orochimaru's research or Shin's DNA as well as the knowledge that Danzo was talented with Seals and it is pretty safe to assume that the seal he used against Sasuke is something he knew himself.

Well... Not really. Against Danzo, Sasuke did the smartest move in the position he was in. Even Obito agreed with his approach to the fight. Had he not constantly attacked Danzo, then he would just have undone Izanagi until Sasuke decided to attack again. Sasuke kept his distance whenever he could and relied on long range attacks. The only time Sasuke closes in on Danzo is when Sasuke kills him with the stab or when Danzo is caught in a Genjutsu.

He had no knowledge against Shin to begin with, and Shin has a fairly unique ability to say the least. Sasuke mainly uses his sword to figure out his opponent or to extend his power through it. The moment he figured out Shin's ability, he took a different approach to combat.
