Curse of Hatred

Ok so originally we learned that Madara spread the curse of hatred to his clan, but recently learning the background of Indra, he was the one to establish the curse of hatred. So, according to Tobirama he states that the uchiha must encounter "love" that eventually leads to hatred. So...who was Indra's love????? Or did Indra had a different concept of conjuring his hatred?????
