I may use it for future FanFiction, But I had a head-cannon about Curse Mark Mode.
1 Stage 3 would make the person even more beast like and even less human, (basis being stg1 was markings and stg2 was beastly transformations and each stage made one more sadistic and bloodthirsty) and one would not be able to control themselves, they would lust for blood and let nothing stand in their way. The only way they could get out of said stage would be to be killed or some sort of sealing.
2 I believe, but could be wrong, that Curse mark mode was made basically as a mock Sage mode, as far as power is considered, by Orochimaru who was unable to fully reach Sage Mode because of his body. The curse mark does however have his DNA, (and maybe the physical mutations could be caused by his imperfect Sage DNA, something involving Nature Chakra?), so stage 3 would probably have power equal too or greater than normal sage mode. (This may also make ones Chakra refuel itself with nature chakra?)
3 It could probably only be reached by absorbing Nature Chakra in CM2 mode
4 If used with a perfected SM (Probably would have to be snake), one would have the power of both combined and be able to have full control, and given that a perfected SM can properly filter Nature chakra to prevent mutations, one would not fully turn beast, most likely, look more like a cleaner CMS2
Summery: CM Stg3 power= SM, can't control blood lust, more beast than man, 1 tuff puppy to stop, can only be reached by CM2 mode and absorbing Nature Chakra, and if used with SM would basicly form a new mode= Cursed Sage Mode
