Yes and no, it mutates your chakra into senjutsu (like a video converter if you will), but it is weaker than the true Dragon sage mode senjutsu, but is still on par or stronger than Kumite sage mode(DSM is stronger than frog sage as Kishi said when kabuto activated his)

Yes He did,Orochimaru would have to bite Him again,and thats to late now it takes too long to work if you remember the last time going back in the barrel,the pills and the seals. Obito would kill Him before He came out.

Itachi didn't seal Orochimaru's seal for nothing.
Orochimaru won't bite him again, lest he'll be unconscious during the fight.
