Whereas Sasuke tag teamed Kabuto with Itachi, in a fight which Itachi done most of the work, then entered the real battle

Actually, FTG is faster than speed of light. Naruto isnt the only character who can move with speed of sound, there are quite a handful of characters who moves so fast that they seem to teleport.
