Sasuke didnt show any sealing jutsu that are strong enough to seal Madara. Look what happened when all 5 kages combined tried to seal him away. Sasuke is stronger than Edo Madara in my opinion, but to inexperienced to finish this battle. Madara would outlast him in the end.

Sasuke has no way of sealing edo Madara for one. 2. Edo Madara has many wide scale rinnegan attacks. There perfect susanoos are pretty much on par. The only thing Sasuke has that really stands out is his space time movements. And even with that Madara is an edo so if he can land a fatal shot it won't matter. Plush Madara has Hashiramas dna and he can heal and regenerate easily. There is no way Sasuke seals or kills Madara. And Madara has a long line of rinnegan attacks along with attacks that could possibly be fatal to Sasuke if he where ever hit. So yeah the fact that Madara is edo just means that this is a long battle in which Sasuke will eventually be drained as we've seen in the past his eye has limitations and get hit with a fatal blow by Madara. If Sasuke had truth seeking balls the story would be different.
