Didn't it state that Gai bends the air around him? If that's the case gravitational pull wouldn't really be a factor.

An incomplete Susanoo was shown to withstand a direct hit from a TBB. PS is even stronger. I don't think Gai's attack is stronger than a TBB.
and like I said with my previous comment. Gai has no way to counter Chibaku Tensei.

That's only because he moves fast. The core is a mini black hole capable of creating a moon. I don't think Gai is fast enough to withstand that force.

But let's say hypothetically that Gai starts off immediately by going into 8 gates and Sasuke immediately uses Chibaku Tensei. Well then Sasuke would win.
All of a sudden, sasuke decided to one shot all biju in one second regardless whether they look at him or not. The panel shown he used the power of his eyes, but not that he focus his sight on each of them individually
