Sakura is still under developed and currently she's
Not on her prime ..
To be honest, I have a hard time envisioning Sakura in a "prime" when it comes to ninja skills.
Character wise, I could see her being along the lines of Erza, if she'd ever get her act together (though Erza has the epic to back up her character that just doesn't seem to be Sakura's forte).
I think in upcoming chapters, she will show us some
Of her new power ..
There's a lot of almost-dead people. She's a medical ninja.
She'd better be getting ready to take up a more important role in stitching people back together.
Though I could see Kishimoto trying to bring her out into a combat role where it makes no sense for her to be involved.
So please guys u have to wait and u will see so big
Develop and big change to sakura like she showed
Us in beginning of the series when she beat sasori
With chyio ..
She started the series off strong, and I was impressed.
However, her character has stalled in terms of ability (no progress being shown), and worse, her character has been sliding backward and into an imitation of twilight.
She is main character and she will have power up
Like all other characters
At this point, that would cheapen her character. She's not supposed to be a jinchuriki. She's not an Uchiha blessed with god's own plot armor ("I can rival the chakra levels of a bijuu even though they are supposed to dwarf the combined power of a nation. Why? Because even though I have eyes that are supposed to one-shot hypnotize anything into psychological ruin... I need to be able to stand toe-to-toe against a jinchuriki."). She's Sakura, a medical ninja who studied under Tsunade.
This show has had enough DBZ-like arbitrary power-ups. If Sakura gets any kind of "power up" - it should be in the form of abilities that function better in the support role (God Forbid she use a Genjutsu to try and help anyone on her team out... she's supposed to be skilled in stuff like that... no... we've got to give her super-strength and have our healer trying to melee DPS... sounds like a good strategy).
When she will be at her prime, she will be hardly
Unbeatable and slug sage mode will be one of her
Deadly weapon , i wished tsunade show us that mode
But i hope she survived somehow and sakura is just
Like mini tsunade and she's the processor of legendary
Sannin ( lady tsunade ) ..
I hope she does step up to inherit the role of a Sanin... but I'm not sure about "slug sage mode." But I hope she makes strides in terms of 'doing her job.' As a medical ninja - her role is to pull wounded allies out of the heat, get them back to fighting strength, and to handle "buffs" and "debuffs."
She's not really supposed to be cracking heads together. That's the job of people like Naruto, A, B, etc.
Finally, we can't judge any characters power unless they
Are at their prime and u have to be patient before u judge
Sakura"s power , just give her a time ...
Most of my qualms with Sakura are with her personality.
She's not a weak ninja or useless by any measure... except that her personality tends to render he as such. She is regularly freezing/choking at the most critical moments where her decisive action is necessary. She often tries to go for direct combat which should never be her primary means of dealing with a target (Shizune is a much better example of a sensible medical ninja). While Sakura's strength is useful - it should be a nasty surprise for anything that manages to punch through a punishing barrage of poison-laced senbon.
That... and her defacto response anymore seems to be to play the damsel in distress - the person to cry out "Things are bad! Save us!" When she more than has the intellect and the ability to make herself useful at the time, rather than stating the obvious for dramatic effect.
I really think Kishimoto has somewhat failed to 'be' Sakura - he has trouble 'getting in her head' - which is why we see her being used as an instrument of the situation so often, rather than being the head-strong character she is supposed to be. She's supposed to have a clear mind and sharp wit... but that's not what Kishimoto has her do... he often uses her merely to add dramatic effect to the scenario and tries to play her character off of Naruto's.
Which is in stark contrast to the female character Sakura is most often compared to: Hinata. Reason being is that Hinata is similar-enough to Naruto's in terms of goals and even some elements of personality that Kishimoto can portray her character very accurately and show her developing.
It's a failing of either Kishimoto's ability to properly express Sakura... or Sakura's character that has the fault (kind of difficult to tell).
For example, during the invasion of Pain - she starts wailing for Naruto to return... which seems to be purely a dramatic display by Kishimoto. She's supposed to have a clear mind and quick wit. She knows Naruto is coming back - and that's all the more reason she should be keeping as many people alive as possible... rather than collapsing and being dramatic about the magnitude of the situation.
Or, we can take the Kage Summit: Sakura starts out being head-strong and "I'm going to go make things happen." I don't think anyone knows what to make of her confession (even Sakura, herself) - but then she sets out to go kill Sasuke. Only to become fodder for a dramatic rescue scene. Again... she's supposed to have a clear mind and quick wit... while seeing Sasuke after so many years is going to understandably throw her a bit... for it to completely fodderize her seems like a cheapening of her character for use in a rescue scene.
Of course, that same clear mind and quick wit decided that a poison laced kunai was the instrument giving her the most likely chances of success against Sasuke - who she knows to have the Sharingan.
That's where I hope to see her character make the most improvement... for her to start acting like her character and to start making a little bit of sense.
