Come to think of it, that could be true. Obito never showed any sealing ability, nor did the Akatsuki people that ganged with him ( and by sealing I don't refer to Human Path, Sword of Totsuka and stuff but actual, regular seals like the Uzumaki Clan and Minato used ).

He might still be tagged. ( Kushina's seal had Minato's tag on it ).
