Im not saying naruto could do better. But Hashirama was the only person capable of stopping madara at that time.

Placing Hashirama against Naruto is extremely diferent from placeing him against Madara w/ Kyuubi.

Naruto has abilities that madara doesnt have and vice-versa. Hashirama would have to change his entire game plan.

We have seen in the manga that Mokuton doesnt even stand up to Rasengans.
Hashirama hasnt displayed any feat that woud help him against naruto's speed or strength.
In Tailed Beast Mode, FTW pollen wouldnt be a problem. Actually OODAMA Rasenshuriken should obliterate all the flowers which eliminates the pollen.
