He beat a weaker version of Nagato's powers(paths) whilst they were nerfed as deva path couldn't use his abilities for most of the fight. Not to mention the paths destroyed konoha beforehand and their abilities were found out and told to Naruto. Also the army off frogs that supported him, his preparation of sage mode clones and the kyuubi saving him.
