I honestly can't decide who is stronger, hogoromo is a boss but madara is just do powerful, who would win in a strait up fight?

Fisrtly, they are 2 people! Second, Madara isn't too focused on the battle but is focused on getting the other Rinnegan! Meaning that he doesn't try a lot but also I believe that he studies their abilities! Madara has both the Juubi and the God Tree so he is stronger! His cloak looks like Kaguya's!

those two people still have the sage's power. Absorbing the god tree doesn't equal to kaguya's power. that's speculation until the manga proves otherwise and idc if his cloak looks like kaguya's either. they either stalemate or the sage wins as of now.
