Maybe he didn't want to? Why didn't Kakashi just Kamui Kakuzu instead of running him through with Raikiri? Why didn't Pein just use a large scale Shinra Tensei against Naruto when his power returned and crush Naruto's bones? Why didn't Deidara send a bunch of Clay Clones at his enemies and have them do that large explosion that he used to try and kill Sasuke? Because, like Madara, they didn't want to.

He had almost no control over his kamui back then, and kamui use chakra like there is no tomorrow, he could have died there, he needed more traning with it. (Manga fact)

i think what omarsen means is that even though edo`s chakra SUPPLY is infinite and they can never tire....it doesnt mean that their chakra CAPACITY is infinite.it`s two separate things.

for example: madara`s chakra capacity is to maintain ONE perfect susanoo at a time.once the susanoo is out he can summon it million times again because his chakra supply is infinite.
but that doesnt mean madara can maintain five perfect susanoos at a time.his chakra capacity isnt so great

maybe edo tensei only gives you 80% of chakra capacity one had when he was alive.that`s why it is possible that alive madara is stronger

So there have been alot of people saying that living madara is weaker than edo state since he has no longer infinite chakra.

lets say Edo Madara had 1000 gallons of infinite chakra = which means he can't receive more chakra due to edo.

Current Madara is alive which means 1000 gallons of chakra, but he can suck chakra from fodders via white zetsu and tailed beast by the wooden dragon

Madara as an edo wasn't at full power which many seem to no see. Kabuto said Madara's edo was special and was better than his prime, he said he created Madara's power while Madara said he didn't create that power. Also we learn from Tobirama that they weren't brought back at full power even tho Orochimaru who has his and Kabuto's knowledge revived them. This leads use to know that even Madara wasn't as full power since Kabuto thought he made Madara beyond his prime and Madara said he didn.t

Well, this isn't a valid enough explanation but i'm glad SOMEONE tried to explain this to me this week.

Madara until proven otherwise by future chapters HAS weakened himself. Take away the Edo Kage and maybe we're in for an interesting battle.
