It could damage a less dense bone, Kimimmaro has the ability to increase his bone density. So seeing a it couldn't slice a standard one states a lot.

Kakashi using Raikiri is questionable, him using it to such a degree to slice Kimimaro himself is out of the question. For him, his speed needing to run forth with Raikiri wouldn't be successful, he'd need to use it upon approach, is certainly wouldn't be enough force to drive thru Kimimmaro.

Also, considering Kimimaro superior taijutsu, Kakashi having to use such a straight forward attack it's easily countered

Well, he was buried in sand many times, shot with multiple sand bullets, got tsunami'd and shit while he didn't even wink at those times. So either he has one damn insane poker face, or the dude has gotten familiar with pain.

I'll consider the first scan. The drawback for using that is Kakashi's position. Seeing as he's stationary, trying to control its movement he's an open target. Kimimaro having the ability to defend and attack at the same time, while dodging that attack, Kimimaro be able to shit vine bullets. This forcing Kakashi to react.

The two middle scans as I said are questionable as to hoe precise they'll be performed without the use if sharingan. Either way, they're too straight forward, as we've seen basic standard attacks are easily countered against Kimimaro

The last has a possible effect but I didn't see the end result of his opponent, so I don't know the effects it would have.

He always had that poker face, even while he admits being challenged by Drunken Fist Lee, his face reminded the time. Also, you have to consider the degree of pain, small or large it's a possible disruption of genjutsu or if not the use of CM.

Sasuke gets stopped in his tracks the second he attempts a raikiri and gets ensnared by the vine. All that is left is for Kimi to decapitate with bones. This is regular chakra, not raiton.Nothing close to Kakashi level of raiton which can cut and pierce anything. He already pierced iron, TB cloak which even Kusanagi failed, giant rocks, Kakuzu's diamond skin etc...Kimimaro's strong bones can't resist something that is supossed to cut anything.

Are people forgetting that Kakashi would have enormous chakra reserves without the Sharingan? His stamina improved considerably in this War Arc; At one point he was spamming Kamui... Now his chakra wont get drained by the Sharingan. And he would still be able to utilize all the techniques he learned thanks to the Sharingan (copying). He could already use Chidori as a kid, he used the Sharingan to master it to Raikiri. Without the Sharingan, he can still use Raikiri. And Kakashis Raikiri or Lightning Cable would definitely decapitate Kimmimaro, his Lightning cutting power has very big feats.

And since when does it mean you have big chakra reserves if not sick? It would mean his chakra would not be as small, not that it would be necessarily big.

Bone techniques wont kill Hatake Kakashi. Portrayal people, come on..

Last time I checked, Mifune and Sasuke tied when clashing their swords. So where is lightning superior? The Samurai can cut large boulders with their blasts, yet the sword barely cut through half of Kimimaro's one bone.
