Kimi would absolutely not want to engage in CQC with Kakashi, his best bet is definitely keeping his distance, and even then he has to worry about the raikiri kunai.

His best option to take out Kakashi at this point is with Sawarabi no Mai, as Kakashi might not have time to react to it given he lacks his sharingan, but that's only if Kakashi doesn't instigate the CQC himself, or keep Kimi on his toes with the kunai.

That's pretty funny, because Kimimaro already withstood Raiton enhanced blade pretty easily. With that being said, Kakashi is never decapitating Kimimaro.

He couldn't, because he was a kid back then and first time using the jutsu. Sasuke used Chidori without Sharingan. So, Kakashi can replicated it.​
