[VS] Current Kakashi VS Asuma

I just want to see what you guys think about current Kakashi (Without MS).
How much power he has lost, and if he could still beat Asuma.
It won't matter long since he's going to get a power up but yeah.

Earth wall, water wall counters elemental attacks, hiding like a mole can be used to stay away from CQC, clones can be used to distract Asuma, running lightning beast or lightning clone gg

I'm going to say something controversial and I genuinely believe Asuma overwhelms MS-less Kakashi with medium difficulty under 2 conditions: no summons and close-mid distance. With his summons ti is literally 50/50 imo. Those hounds are damn competent.

Water and earth walls would counter Asuma's elemental jutsu and raiden cuts him in half(he did nkt lose whole lightning affinity, just chidori as it requires straightforward motion which left him vulnerable, it can still be an option under certain conditions)

Asuma isn't that weak... He's actually pretty good at taijutsu ; db says he's better than kakashi + he has fuuton kunai.

Just cause hidan beat him doesn't mean he was ever weak, it just means hidan was strong and isn't given enough credit. Not like kakashi could ever do shit against hidan.Asuma was able to parry Kisame after all, and kisame's a good sword fighter who could parry bee.

Come on people.. Kakashi wins, his stamina is no longer much of a problem, and it's not like losing the sharingan takes away from his immense intelligence. He can still utilize his jutsu. Oh, and to the people saying "he can't even use chidori" ?? Don't be ridiculous, gaining the sharingan only helped Kakashi perfect the Chidori faster, he would have perfected it sooner or later. Not to mention Kakashi is more skilled in almost every department. People like to forget Kakashi was a prodigy and considered a genius without the sharingan...

Kakashi only parried him, while having a sharingan(to predict his movement) and intel on his style, he didn't hit hidan or even push hidan back.

Asuma may have better CQC capabilities, but Kakashi has a whole arsenal to bypass that disadvantage.
The tricks he was pulling on Deva Path should be more than enough to handle this.

Kakashi Hatake was and remains superior to Asuma Sarutobi. Especially current Kakashi, even without his Sharingan. Kakashi was already an excelling prodigy who became a chuunin at the age of 6. He is superior when it comes to Ninjutsu & Genjutsu. He should also be able to at least hold his own against Asuma when it comes to Taijutsu; As they are both ranked equally on Taijutsu in the latest Data-books (4.5/5). Of course, Asuma can combine his Ninjutsu (Chakra Blades in particular) with his Taijutsu, which makes him one of Konohas most skilled close-combat fighters. So Kakashi would not be able to rely on his Taijutsu to defeat him, however he is vastly superior when it comes to Ninjutsu. Kakashi is highly skilled with several nature transformations: Earth, Water but especially Lightning. In fact, his Lightning is so advanced that it is actually an attribute enemies manage to identify him by. He can use Chidori and Raikiri but also manipulate his Lightning by help of Clones to create Lightning Cables and even Lightning Hounds. He is capable enough with Water-release to match the likes of Zabuza. And his Earth-release can come out very handy against Asuma, given the fact that he can coordinate his Earth-style with his Ninken (Dog Summons). And to spare us both the time, there is no way you can justifiably exclude the summons under this thread... He himself and also his Dog summons can move very fast underground. He could fight/occupy Asuma while his Dogs wait underground for the perfect moment to strike. In addition, Kakashi even knows Rasengan. But that aside, Kakashi is also vastly superior when it comes to intelligence. His arsenal consists out enormous amount of techniques (I believe roughly 1,000) & he has great stamina. He is a trickster type of fighter, he does not go into direct combat without being sure he has a good chance of winninig. He would initially completely analyze Asumas abilities (Thus the weaknesses which he could exploit) by utilizing Lightning Clones, etc... But eventually he would face Asuma and win. Kakashi is overall the superior when it comes to many areas in battle, even without his Sharingan. If we were to take a look at the stats of the Data-books, Kakashi would remain superior in many categories (Without his Sharingan). He remains superior at Ninjutsu & Genjutsu & Intelligence. Officially speaking, his Taijutsu would remain the same (Thus equal). Asuma is only 0.5 points higher when it comes to physical strength. They would be equally fast. And Asuma was originally only 0.5 point higher than Part 1/Part 2 Kakashi (Before the Pain Arc) on stamina, but we all know Kakashi grew considerably in stamina ever since the War Arc, while Asuma did not have the time to improve his stamina (As he is dead). Going off the manga and the Data-books, Kakashi would have the higher chance of winning against Asuma in battle.
