LMAO I've had this avatar since I joined NB, which was in April. I'm too lazy to change it.

Well, he made a clone to use Lightning Chain a couple of times. I just don't see sharingan Tobi beating Kakashi. Kakashi's taijutsu is too great for Tobi to grasp and absorb him. It'll probably end in a stalemate.
Here's the deal, Once Tobi starts the process of sucking him in, there is no escape, much like Kamui. Tobi's intangibility is the greatest counter to Kamui. Kamui must be added with a projectile attack, such as lightning kunai, to even hit Tobi. Tobi's taijutsu is no joke actually. His chains+intangibility combo is deadly. In fact, Tobi having a sharingan makes his taijutsu=to Kakashi's

He caught Guy's nun-chucks like it was nothing. Also, Izanagi could be game over for Kakashi since he might not even know of its existence. I'll leave it out of the fight though.

Tobi has genjutsu to. Tobi tricked Konan with genjutsu during their fight. Though his genjutsu outside of battle is much more powerful, so I'll leave that out too. Since Tobi isn't protecting anything, he has no use for his barrier technique.

All in all, I see no way in Kakashi winning. Tobi isn't stupid either, he's highly intelligent, but his arrogance often gets in the way.

Tobi > Kakashi regardless of this knowledge he still doesn't have the chakra levels or power to beat Tobi in 1 vs 1.

Nope. Cuz he would need to kamui his attacks right after he uses them...Goodluck with that.
Tobi has more stamina and has Gedo Mazo at his disposal.

so that means kakashi would have to use a jutsu, kamui it right after, Tobi will learn the trick and easily counter it, tobi too is a genious, obviously.
Please don't bring Gedo Mazo into this, it throws everything off. It's simply 1 vs 1.
Kakashi can use clones to mimic what Naruto and Guy did in that strategy in 596. Except Kakashi doesn't have those nunchuk things and he can only use a normal rasengan.

Yes, Tobi is also an intelligent shinobi. So, I say Kakashi high-dif or draw. Plus, Kakashi would use much more complex tactics than what you've thought up. Kakashi won't use the same strategy repetitively, he's not one for underestimating his opponent.
true, i suppose the method is possible but its just never been in his character to use clones one on one, he had to pull out a clone when 3 v2 jin's were coming at him sure, but thats purely situational, especially if he knows hes most likely going to have kamui every attack that he wants to hit tobi with in perfect timing with his intangibility, if kakashi wins its high diff

edit - people bringing up rinnegan and gedo mazo...:sy:
Going up against Tobi is situational, so Kakashi will fight him with all he has.

Yeah, man. People always insist in ruining vs threads.
-_____- you've been giving kakashi the win since the start of this thread

and how do you know it is?? ;)
Well, I'm not saying Kakashi wins forsure. But, sharingan Tobi sure as hell doesn't win.

And I don't know, neither do you. So, let's leave that out.:)

Kakashi has no counters to Tobi warping him. Its that simple. Seriously, I see this being like the Fu and Torune fight. I'm not even fanboying here. Sharingan Tobi isn't even my top 5.

What Team Naruto's fighting right now pretty much is Sharingan Tobi. Kakashi has no counter to what Tobi did to Fu and Torune.
Better taijutsu, my friend.

Wow, you're the type of fanboy who's worthy to debate with. Great points, man. Yes, I won't give Kakashi the edge in intellect or taijutsu, they are equal in those departments. Although, Kakashi's taijutsu-style is much more jumpy and swift.

Kakashi will absolutely not be grasped by Tobi. Tobi must get a hold of someone to warp em. Kakashi will be too focused and quick for Tobi to get a hold of him. Though, Tobi's genjutsu and use of chains will be his greatest hopes in creating an opening to warp Kakashi.

But, like you said. Tobi has been known to underestimate his opponents and belittle them. So, that could possibly be his downfall.

Man, I think I've created the hardest vs debate. Well, Minato vs Muu is also a tough one. But, let's not go there.

Really? You must not read the manga if you think Kakashi has chakra problems.:sy:

I see Kakashi's clones as his best advantage here because he could trick Tobi into warping one of his clones, and then hit him with an attack. The variety of attacks that Kakashi has>Tobi's one dimensional fighting style and now that I think about it, Kakashi definitely has a chance to win, but I don't think it'll be because of Kamui. Kakashi often uses clones to test the waters I guess you can say. Though I gotta stick with Tobi because of his warping ability, though I guess you could say I'm a fanboy.

Lol I'm implying that the fight will most likely end in a stalemate. They'll probably call it a day and go home.:D

Comparing Kakashi to those two isn't such a great idea. I'm not saying they're weak, but they're nowhere near Kakashi's level.

Yeah, Kakashi is king of versatility. Followed by Jiraiya and Hiruzen. Pshhh, I guess there's no obvious victor here.:(

I dont see what Kakashi can do to hurt Tobi honestly..Chidori is out of the question. Clones? honestly? Tobi and his sharingan can see through almost any feint that anyone has used against him, not saying kakashi wont come up with a brilliant strategy, but tobi is just as smart, or maybe even smarter than kakashi. Kamui would be kakashi's best chance, and that is not very effective against him anyway. The moment Kakashi starts kamui, Tobi will just cancel it out like he did before, he's even mentioned that it has no effect on him. As for taijutsu, they are both even it seems, but adding his intangibility, close range is a no no for kakashi, cuz once the absorbtion process begins, there is no hope, unless kakashi knows FTG. Also, those chains that seal your chakra is a great technique to imploy.

Tobi wins

He can control the fourth mizukage in a basic sharigan
He can control kurama for shit in a basic sharingan
Tobi can just cancel kakashi's kamui, tobi even stated that kamui won't effect on him
Tobi s/t tech is quite advanced since he can warp himself and it's faster than kakashi kamui.

Looool think before you make this thread, just cuz kakashi has MS and exploit one of tobi s/t tech by sending naruto rasengan into other dimension doesn't mean his sharingan better than tobi .Tobi sharingan is way better since his good at genjutsu and his s/t tech are way faster than kakashi's kamui

how on earth do people think kakashi has a chance?tobi wins no difficulty.he blocked suigetsu's sword like nothing with his bare arms,he took minato's rasengan which is 10x better than kakashi's and got up quickly,he easly kept up with km naruto and easily beat his clone.naruto's km kamui'd rasengan simply blew off his sleeve,he stopped gai's attack like nothing.he is faster, smarter and stronger than kakashi, honestly, how can people think kakashi can take tobi alone?.
