Jiriya is capable of use oil, oil hinders sand useless. If Tsuande was to supply her chakra, the degree of this technique can really be an issue for Garra's sand.

Orochimaru has shown abilities to avoid such attacks, especially while those offenses are on the surface. Garra trying to bury or subdue Orochimaru with sand would be pointless. Example)

These two techniques alone allow him to avoid such attacks effortlessly and with his ability to sense chakra, the chakra within the sand will allow him to predict its approach. SAND CANNOT SENSE THIS ABILITY!

Garra uses environmental sand, which isnt as strong and dense and the sand he keeps within his gourd. you act as if it's impossible to planet spores in his sand, Deidara did this effortlessly and even explains how chakra in infused with the sand.

If Garra was to use his sand in his gourd, as he's done previously, to cripple his opponents, Orochimaru can easily planet spores into his sand. In depending someone as durable as Orochiamru and Tsuande, Garra would need to use his strongest sand to finish them.

Kusanagi is remotely controlled lol. Disarming Orochimaru means nothing, as he can summon it on command or have it attack Garra directly from behind.



Tsuande may be caught, but there isnt proof that such sand can restraint her. Kimimaro using CM2 had no issue resisting. Now, while his sand has improved, it never has went against someone as strong as Tsuande.



They wouldnt drown as all, they'll simply apply chakra to their feet and stand upon it. This still prevent sand from coming underneath them. Sand Tsunami is blocked with Summoning: Triple Rashōmon...ultimately looking similar to this

I see your assumption that oil alone would not work, i also noticed the source of your infomation post the oil itself would still thicken the sand and cause it to clog together. This makes it harder to utilize and possibly slower in speed. Lets not confuse normal sand and Garra's chakra enhanced sand here either. Also, in the thread users provided instances when oil itself was mentioned as the sole threat, not the combination of the two. So while it was a nice read, it meant little at this point in time, maybe if it was 1 vs 1

making the sand clog together wouldnt really hinder gaara,since he usually attacks with sand that way(he dosent attack with individual grains). Also oil is less dense than water,gold is 20x denser than water,gaara mixed gold into his sand and could use it,i dont see oil being much of a threat in terms of weighing it down,and this is a desert,how much oil can he spit out at once?. Also the oil is thick,it cant slip through,so at most it will affect the outer surface only.
