I agree with this guy.
Look it's obvious Gaara lost because it was his first time fighting as kage to protect the village. In an environment where he doesn't have to do that, current Gaara trashes Deidara.
His sand has obviously gotten faster after he lost the Shukaku, it was fast enough to easily block instant amatarasus. (before it couldn't even block Lee base speed) so now it would catch Deidara pretty easily. Also it was strong enough to block the Raikage's heavy lightning enhanced, gravity enhanced kick! Also Gaara beat his father and the 2nd Mizukage. Hes a beast kage now its obvious he wud end Deidara.

Gaara only got captured because he had to protect his village from the giant c4 Deidara dropped on it.

The most illogical comment I saw yet far.
He needs to breath those bombs, and if he surrounds himself in a 3 feet thick layer of sand in a 360 degree angle he obviously won't be able to breath them.
He can just keep that 360 degree shield to block c0. U_U

You make it sound as if he can see those bombs to avoid it. He most likely wouldnt even know what happened in order to come up with a counter
