Current gaara vs current sasuke

People think gaara gets raped by sasuke . Tht isn't the case they're basically equal gaara can defend against anything sasuke can throw at him same with sasuke (except sasuke can't defend against gaara grabbing him out of his Susanno)
Now I get sasuke is strong but so is gaara

Now I won't back up sasuke because majority of u tht r reading this arnt gonna read my thing anyway but w.e


Here's my proof on how gaara can defend against everything sasuke could throw at him

gaara has good chance he can block genjutsu wit 3rd eye we do not know if it gets caught in genjutsu but gaara can move it and hide it so there for he will be safe against genjutstu

Susanno arrows currently he shot one a kabuto he dodge it and hit a boulder it didn't even destroy a boulder gaara sand defense >>>>>>>>>>>boulder not to mention half of gaaras defense (other half was saving mei) tanked 5 Susanno swords at once granted he got sent flying from the collision but he revived no damage from the attack and his sand cushioned fall
seeing as its seeping with chakra and created from strongest minerals the amatsaratsu it states in its description the only thing it wasnt able to burn was gaara sand just look up the jutsu and u will see it say tht

Gaara can fly ppl say sasuke can use hawk I agree but u do relize he won't be protected by Susanno and won't be able move freely while in air gaara sand comes from all directions look at his previous fights
Ppl say gaara needed onooki jutsu to get madara out of Susanno but they forget to relize gaara has been fighting since this war started he was tired he's been fighting for days straight madara was fresh and is an edo witch is immortality infinite chakra and stamina
Plus gaara and onooki block to metors right b4 madara started going off

The lighting attacks well seeing as A didnt do anything to gaara's sand when his body was sardounded in lighting he can still touch him so lighting won't save sasuke from gaara's grabs and sand burials / imperial funnerals now as for chidori and the chidori sword does sasuke even carry a sword haven't seen it since kage summit (I might b wrong) and yes it pierced part 1 but remember it was hard as hell for sasuke to pierce it it took long as hell for it to pierce and in the end sasuke had to chidori again just to get his hand out of the sand ball
Gaara's sand is that strong in part 1 stronger when he fought kimmi even stronger when he fought deidara gotten both stronger and faster when he defended and attacked sasuke
And now is faster then ever plus he can fight in air instead of being in sasuke chidori reach
Gaara has proven to be more smarter then sasuke in battle and has way better chakra and stamina then sasuke (sasuke couldn't handle A gaara onooki or Mei or Danzo for the matter) (gaara was able to take out 3 kages edo immortality infinite stamina and chakra and still fighting madara doing all this days straight without no breaks)

Gaara sand manage to block amatsaratsu (check amaterasu data it says it couldn't burn it didn't say Enton or blaze release it says Amaterasu) stop A from attacking
Caught the 3rd raikage (stronger then A) caught muu mizukage and his dad

Survived 5 susannos with legs so those things are faster and stronger then sasuke Susanno and are mobile and let's not forget he defended every kage exception of onooki from mokoton witch is an instant (I repeat instant) Forrest his sand speed is pretty epic not only for himself but for his teamates as well
If sasuke stayes in Susanno he will be buried underground like kimmi just tht sasuke Dnt have bone structure to survive
Gaara can create a desert on his own like he did with kimmi

Currently in my opinion sasuke and gaara is equal this recent manga chapter proved gaara has no problems fighting 5 mobile susannos and protecting Mei from her 5 susannos

By actual facts gaara and sasuke are equal they both have ways to defeat each other both are talented but remember sasuke gets more upgrades then gaara but gaar would still be able to hold his own against sasuke and can win same with sasuke

50/50 in my opinion it can go either way

Gaara is far stronger than sasuke, people always try to downgrade Gaara whenever they get the chance to, for example, saying that gaara received help from shukaku against deidara or that he has to be in a desert to control huge amounts of sand or that he did not block amaterasu or that his sand is slow and weak to lightning, all these and more are made up lies just so that Gaara can be made to look inferior to most characters. If people really read the manga well they would see that Gaara is the stronger person and not sasuke. only a few people I know like Genii96, blazekev and a few others like Kazekage Daichi now what Gaara is capable up. I can make a thread countering and putting to shame Gaara's haters theories but the have thick skulls and will never understand.

You mean those pathetic arrows that could not break through a pillar while juugo blew the whole roof of the cave or the ones that were stopped by chakra rods that kakashi was able to hold and break with his hand? You see if you are going to downgrade Gaara, i can as well bring up many instances were sasuke looked like the weakest character in the whole naruto. As long as the arrows are not stronger than c3 or meteors, gaara can block them.

If lighting gets passed gaara sand why didn't raikage just seep through gaara's sand ?? Answer it

The only reason sasuke chidori worked was because of 2 reasons

1 at time gaara thought nothing could go through his defense .. So he didn't guard only used his sand ball.. So tht was over confidence on his part

2 because chidori is piercing attack...


Now if he was to use chidori on current gaara tht would be suicide with the amoun of sand gaara carries ... And could make..

Gaara's Defense like the majority of defenses are used to block or cushion the blow of impacts. Gaara Successful blocked a Susanoo sword very well[

The thing that separates the Susanoo Arrow from the Susanoo Sword is that the Arrow is a Penetrating attack which specializes in infiltration of defenses. For an effective penetration you need a Sharpness and Speed. The Arrow clearly has a tip but its the Speed that has been praised that makes it's penetration power to much. The more speed that more penetration and the Susanoo Arrow has a speed that Kakashi could not react to with foot speed and a speed that interrupted Danzo's handseals[

You see it is people like these that are called "die hard uchiha fans" you sprout useless talk about how ration or enton breaks Gaara's defense(which is not true) but you forget that Gaara would have crushed and killed sasuke before he can even reach Gaara. Gaara controls the ground and all angles, most of the time his opponents are fighting his sand thinking of a way to survive and they dont even have time to study gaara or even get to him but you forget all that and just say sasuke will beat him. I could as well say desert funeral finishes sasuke off.

So he split his defense to save Mei ... From hers

And the 5 susannos saw it as oppretunity to attack witch they did but the other half being automatic deflected it granted he did bounce a bit but he was unhurt..

Now it is just your assumption that the mokuton is denser than Gaara's sand. An about the speed you talked about, Gaara blocked amaterasu although you would not agree. Danzo was able to see the arrow coming without even the sharingan, he had enough time to try and weave hand seals and predict that he would have no time and then to resort to another technique, that time is enough for Gaara to set up a defense strong enough to block that arrow. As for kakashi, he was able to activate the mangekyou, target the arrow and then use kamui on it, if the arrow was that fast, he would not have been able to target the arrow and then kamui it but because the speed was not that spectacular, he was able to track it even as it was moving and kamui it.

Ok I see what ur saying an now I get tht penatrating thing (tht explains why sasuke arrow didn't break pillar )

But danzo Mokoton isn't on the scale of hashi's (tht goes for duribiltity or speed)


Gaara's defense is auto so it wouldn't have a problem coming to his aid
( I mean it did it with Susannos and he wasn't even looking at they're direction he was concentrated on saving Mei)



Also about the Susanno thing dude defense means to protect u from something sure gaara went flying but at same time it protected him from the attack gaara took no damage from tht attack he just got knocked back that is all...


I still believe gaara could tank sasukes arrows expecally if danzo's subpar Mokoton could...
