Are you guys fans of the current arc and the one before this one? o_O.

And when do you believe One Piece will get that serious tone, like how Naruto has or bleach has? My guess is when Dragon makes his move..

When slowly pieces of the void century are revealed things will most likely get darker and tenser.

I believe Oda is going to do what he did with the build up to the marineford war.

Right now, we have been getting bits of information about the void century and about the celestial dragons and the yonko.

It seems as though these three things will build up to something bigger that will involve Dragon as well, so right now Oda will keep teasing us with information for quite some time before he decides to up the tempo like he did with saboady, impel down and marineford.

One Piece is always childish and waits too much. That's why I don't like it that much.

It never had the real ''serious'' tone. They always got angry from stupid and childish things. Bleach has had always that serious tone.

Naruto has had logic and emotional tone.

You clearly haven't been reading. This arc had a serious tone since chapter 702. When we found out Aces fruit is up for grabs.
-Warlord antagonist
-Lots of fights
-NEW ADMIRAL
-Garps past
-New allies of the Strawhats
-Rescue Mission

How on earth can you not see this arc is serious?

Since when was getting angered because of enemy actions a non-serious thing? The opening arcs up to Loguetown aren't serious. You're a hater whom has probably only gone by what other people have said. Doubt you've even read it...

Judging by the spoiler it's starting to get serious. Law is shit after all. Sanji used as a hype tool once again starts to become annoying though. It seems there is no Monster trio, but monster duo now

Nobody expects Sanji to beat DD, but it was epic enough for him to stop DD in his tracks! Also, Sanji is virtually on the same level as Zoro IMO. Zoro only fought Monet and she is fodder compared to him, whereas Sanji actually fought some strong guys like Vergo and now DD. His broken leg against Vergo was due to Nami getting hurt in his body, so that says nothing about his strenght.

If I were to compare the Monster Trio in numbers it would be:
Luffy: 100
Zoro : 95
Sanji: 93

I never expected him to defeat Doflamingo, but he should at least show he can put up a fight. What i'm talking about is not really concerning the opponents, but the showings. At least Zoro and Luffy have better showings and hype. Sanji is the one used to hype stronger opponents lately(Vergo and now Doflamingo). Oda even went as far as replacing Zoro by Sanji to use him as the hype tool once again. Because of this, Oda already showed his limits when Zoro's and Luffy's limits are unknown

Hence his roflstomp against the NFP's and fighting the strongest enemy on Punk Hazard.

Explain how they have better "showings"? What are you even on about? If you mean screen time or what they do on screen : Sanji's done way more than Zoro.
Sanji is the one used to hype stronger opponents lately(Vergo and now Doflamingo).
Sanji vs Vergo wasn't to hype Vergo. Sanji had an injury (DAMNIT NAMI!!) and therefore he wasn't fighting at full strength. Thus it was not for hyping him up. Law was used to hype up Doflamingo. Last time I checked : Sanji was the blonde perv and not the brainy guy with the Ope Ope no Mi.
Oda even went as far as replacing Zoro by Sanji to use him as the hype tool once again. Because of this, Oda already showed his limits when Zoro's and Luffy's limits are unknown
We haven't seen Sanji's limits. The closest was against Vergo with an injury (On top of that he didn't even use Hells memories which seem to atleast double Sanjis power. Much like Asura and the Gears do to the other members of the M3)

I agree with everything Rinnemaki says. We have not seen the limit of Sanji's strenght by any stretch of the imagination.

Showings

FI

1- Zoro one-shoted the arc villain in FI when he was at a disadvantage of fighting a fishmen(faster under water) under water and difficulties to breath, same villain Luffy had trouble to beat(albeit far stronger with drugs)

2- Hyouzou who was countering Gear second Luffy, someone Luffy admitted to be strong(hype) was boring to Zoro(despite having take drugs)

In the FI, while Zoro and Luffy were replacing each other to fight the strongest, Sanji was fighting underlings

PH

1- Luffy and Zoro are showed in pair to fight a dragon finally one-shoted by Zoro

2- Luffy fights Monet and almost lose while Monet admits she never thought she could have been able to beat him. When she meets Zoro, she repeats the same sentence and we discover later that Zoro was only playing with her one-shoting a logia without using haki, just through fear, to the point that Tashigi who grew up with VA levels like Smoker was totally shocked by how much strong he really was

3- On the other side, Sanji finally fights the strongest villain of the arc and almost get defeated. Concerning his body, he never stated it handicaped him, so i don't think it was really that important, especially when he was facing an opponent who didn't even go all out(he didn't use his ultimate form he used against Law for example)

Dressrosa arc

We're still in the arc so we can't tell, but atm Sanji is the one used to hype tool against Doflamingo once again. The worse thing is that Oda did it uselessly since his limit was already given against Vergo, because of this, no one expected him to win. If what Doflamingo did was done to Zoro, it would have had a greater impact since so far Zoro has had the better showings

How can't you see Zoro has better showings than Sanji?

Never said Zoro was stronger than Luffy. I was comparing their showings and the thing is since the timeskip, they have comparable prowess

Fair enough.

That's just Zoro being badass. Sanji completely destroyed Wadatsumi whom IMO was stronger than the commanders except Dosun and Ikaros.
In the FI, while Zoro and Luffy were replacing each other to fight the strongest, Sanji was fighting underlings
And Sanji and Zoro both fought the two strongest NFP commanders whom were on par with eachother. Sanji's been shown fighting weaker opponents since the start. It doesn't change anything since the time skip. It's always been:
Luffy vs Strongest
Zoro vs Second strongest
Sanji vs Third strongest
this has and will never change. I don't see your problem with it.

1- Luffy and Zoro are showed in pair to fight a dragon finally one-shoted by Zoro
And? Sanji fought Vergo. Vergo roflstomps Monet and Caeser.

2- Luffy fights Monet and almost lose while Monet admits she never thought she could have been able to beat him. When she meets Zoro, she repeats the same sentence and we discover later that Zoro was only playing with her one-shoting a logia without using haki,
The one shotting was due to Monet's mental fragility. It's not a feat to be declared by Zoro. Because it's impossible to hit an element form Logia user.

just through fear, to the point that Tashigi who grew up with VA levels like Smoker was totally shocked by how much strong he really was
And? That's because Zoro has a ridiculously vicious killing intent. Sanji and Luffy don't. That's called a personality trait.

3- On the other side, Sanji finally fights the strongest villain of the arc and almost get defeated.
(DUE TO INJURY! He never used Hells Memories which seemed like one attack from an arsenal he has yet to reveal)
Concerning his body, he never stated it handicaped him, so i don't think it was really that important,
A broken limb handicaps EVERY MORTAL EVER.
especially when he was facing an opponent who didn't even go all out(he didn't use his ultimate form he used against Law for example)

Dressrosa arc

We're still in the arc so we can't tell, but atm Sanji is the one used to hype tool against Doflamingo once again.
He hasn't been used as a hype tool considering Law is the one who fought Doflamingo. Therefore Law is the one whom was used for hype. It's clear you read chapters where someone edited all the slides so that Sanjis face is there. He was praised for his strength by Doflamingo. And thus he is still in the M3 because of this. It's a tradition. Would Oda really change it?
The worse thing is that Oda did it uselessly since his limit was already given against Vergo,
No hells memories
Broken leg...
Idiot.
because of this, no one expected him to win. If what Doflamingo did was done to Zoro, it would have had a greater impact since so far Zoro has had the better showings
Actually no. By powerscaling we know that Zoro would get stomped too as the strength between Zoro and Sanji is so minute it's the equivelant to the strength of one armed soldier. Considering the M3 could probably fight and defeat 100,000 each and win it's literally no difference. So if Sanji would inevitably lose then it's clear to anyone with a brain that so would Zoro.

Your arguments were invalid.

Sanji is obviously still a part of the M3. You're comparing his showings to his superiors. Go compare them to the other 6 Straw Hats. Then come back and tell me he isn't in the M3.

The Main 3 simply refers to the 3 main fighters......

There is a big gap between Zoro and Sanji.. always had been. However, there is not such a big gap between Zoro and Luffy.. already demonstrated over and over.

Zoro and Luffy are the mere reflection of Rayleigh and Roger/Beckman and Shanks..

Vice Captains are always near the power of the Captain. And than we have the gap between the Vice-captain and the others.

Pretty sure Naruto is never normally serious... Yet you say it's serious.

The tone is the vibe and mood. All the occurances make the mood and vibe serious. People were crying for their lives? Not just crying for no reason.

So they are just being Strawhats...? One Piece always has a lighter tone and every arc has its serious moments. I am sure we will get more of those moments further on in this arc. Just give it some time.
