[Discussion] Curious about Fairy Law

I've been thinking about this for a little while and I want members in take. What we know about Fairy Law, is that Mavis created it, correct? Known users are Mavis, Makarov and Laxus. What I'd like to know (It's not absolute, only opinionated), do you think any FT master or people close to the master can use Fairy Law or any of the 3 great spells? The 1st master was Mavis, who created it and by extension obviously use it. The Second Master, Purehito could presumably use it due to him being able to create Grimoire's version. Makarov as the third master has already used it in the series. Macao was never really a formal master since Makarov never chose him. Gildarts was master for literally 1 day, so taking time to learn it was out of the question. And then Makarov at 6th again. Laxus is the wild card and I presume he is able to use it because he is related to the Master. So do you believe any formal Master (chosen by the previous one) or people close to the master (Laxus) are able to use Fairy Law (and if knowledge is given of Sphere and Glitter as well)?

It's probably written somewhere how to do it. (like how lucy gained the info to do Urano Metria ) so I guess laxus found out somewhere how to use it. (and probably yes you have to be relative or close to the master )

I think it is more of a hidden technique.

Mavis devised Fairy Law, Sphere, and Glitter.

Purohetto could use Law because he developed Grimmoire Law to counter it.

As we saw, a Non-Master (Laxus) could use law as well which means it is not restricted to Masters. Additionally, family wise Mavis, Purohetto, and Makarov are not related so blood has nothing to do with it.

As A result, I would conclude one must simply know the secrets of how to perform it. People I would expect to be capable of using it right now are: Makarov, Gildarts, Laxus.....the only other person I might see using it would be Ezra.


Besides we don't want to go passing it out to every FT member.


So like I said....one must know the secrets to its performance.

I was thinking it was similar to how Naruto learned Tajuu Kage Bunshin; because of the Forbidden scroll. I like your explanation though. Although Erza? LFD Natsu > Erza and he has just as much "heart".
