Cuba, anyone????

Maybe most of you don't know, but Cuba is an extremely difficult country for someone to have a direct internet connection. I am one of the chosen....but am I the only one here on NB?

Cuba?! :crazy: That's awesome, but rather odd, I think you're probably the only one. U_U I'm in the US...so yeah, my government doesn't like Cuba much. I couldn't care less though, the people in Cuba are just that, people. No reason to be hostile towards people.

...Hmm, what do they say about us though? Now I'm curious. xd It's the governments that have a problem with each other, the people have nothing to do with it. U_U So why don't they just leave the people out of it and measure their d**ks already? xd

Hahaha!!! You're right, man. It's not our fault if they want to play Call of Duty once in a while. My only wish right now is to get a faster internet connection (this one is a dial-up one, damn it!) and I don't care about politics. And about you americans...we don't have anything against you, everybody knows that's a goverment issue and you ppl have nothing to do with that. In fact, many of you there are doing stuff to put an end to this situation. We have A LOT of american visitors here every year, no problem with that. So if you feel like traveling someday...hahaha!!! But remember before you do: no internet here!!!

Oh, that's it! Well, it isn't my case, man. Here in Cuba we love NAruto, everybody loves manga/anime, hunte x hunter, bleach, claymore, etc...but we have no internet acces. Less than 2 % of the ppl is online, and that includes universities and the goverment itself. I am saying i am one of that 2 %....wow wow wow wow!!!!

A while back I listened to a very interesting report on NPR about Cuban bloggers and how they get around the internet hassles. That's got to be rough, sir.

Yeah, it's a little bit difficult, and a real pain in the arse if you're used to have an internet conn (even an extremely slow one, like this one) and suddendly you have it no more. Just a few days ago i managed to get it back, after a whole month and a half without it. I could say im lucky somehow....you have it everyday and you don't even realize how lucky you are. Broadband interned...yes sir!!!
