Bold would suggest Neji used 64 palms on Hinata during the chunin exams and Himawari used 64 palms on Naruto in the oneshot which would be incorrect.

I'm referring to the fact Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms closes the chakra points (ignoring how many time it does), not that closing the chakra points can solely be done by Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms.

Basically the equivalence represent the effects of the technique, not the likeness.

There is no ignoring how many times it does though.. Sixty four palms means sixty four tenketsu are closed. No more.. no less. Fillers and non canon stuff brought up the 16, 32 and 128 and those don't make sense with what we learnt in canon.

Nevertheless, closing chakra points =/= Eight trigrams. Neji vs Hinata and Himawari on Naruto proves this without a doubt.

I'm ignoring how many times it does for the sake of the argument, which you still don't get.

Closing chakra points doesn't necessarily means using Eight Trigrams, hence why the equivalence wasn't connected or denoted by the likeness.

However, Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms closes the chakra points, which itself creates a common effect with closing the chakra points.

Analogically, Snakes and Crocodiles aren't the same. But in body temperature, they are both cold blooded, so can you say Snakes = Crocodiles in body temperature.

Except if you ignore the established fact, it gives room for the misconceptions you are getting. Closing points =/= 64 palms. What Neji and Himawari did are two different things which fall under the broad umbrella of Gentle fist. Not Eight trigrams. That's why you can't compare their effects which is what i believe you're trying to get at.

And seriously the way you call 'Eight trigrams' like its a technique on its own is weird.

"The sudden stop of tenketsu." Do u think it means that her single hit blocked every single tenketsu suddenly? Explains why Naruto would get knocked out.

Your response opens way for another dose of argument(s), which am really not going to comply considering i have had that same argument with Darth for almost a week now.

I have already proven why they are essentially the same. If you don't agree with it, rest assured you aren't going to get a reaction. Needless to say, let's agree to disagree.

That's the only scenario that comes to my mind as well.. Its crazy and a whole lot far fetched but i was thinking probably her hit closed all 361 tenketsu at once which could be why it was going to take a whole day for Naruto to get up. Would be ridiculous though.. I mean, what potency xD

I dont think potency would have anything to do with it. Most logical scenario is that this was a new secret move meant to surpass 64 palms hence why Hinata knows of siqns and effect. Hime could've seen Hinata use it and instantly copied it.

This actually makes more sense. Great post yet again Neo xD
