Compare Naruto to Naruto.

Was inner Sakura not a comic relief entity? So why'd it show up in her fight with Ino?
Was Naruto's harem technique not comic relief? Why'd it work against Kaguya?

And again, the manga never depicted Himawari striking Naruto as comic relief if you want to get technical, it depicted Himawari hunting down Bolt as comic relief.

What could anyone say to this? Checkmate.

"Compare Naruto to Naruto."

Analogies covers all fictional ranges, not just a single one.

Sakura's inner self and Naruto's harem technique accomplishing their intended motives made sense.

Himawari hitting Naruto with a technique he has tanked before, and getting knocked out does not make sense. Why, because it was a comic relief. Sometimes I don't know how people reason.

"Muhh Himawari used a different gentle fist technique"

Effects of Himawari's gentle fist.

Effects of Neji's gentle-fist.
You must be registered for see images

Both techniques shut down the victim's tenketsu, but apparently both techniques were different.

You should follow your own advice ( from the last thread ) and actually get a brain, just saying.

What I said from the last thread; Hopefully his smartness rubs off on you, and your associates.

What Hinabae think I said; get a brain.

Unironically, he's the one who should get a brain.

However let's assume Hinabae added adverbial phrase only was in response to my statement from the last thread;

What my statement suggested; you're dumb.

What Hinabae think my statement suggested; you don't have a brain

As you can see, the first case suggest Hinabae is sssjkjahsn and the second doesn't stop the fact Hinabae is that sssjkjahsn.

Obviously the word "sssjkjahsn" is a transpose for something mentally incapable in case you're wondering. But it's NOT a direct result.

Only a retard would try to prove two different attacks to be the same despite manga evidence and then call others retarded...:coffee:

Two different attacks but identical names has the same effect on the victim, so that solidifies the fact they are different.

My God, do even you realize how that sound and how retarded it makes you look?

Please name the two attacks.

Gentle fist is a technique that attacks the victim chakra network. In conjunction with the Byakugan, the user can even go further and attack the victim's tenketsu.

The numbers of times the technique can be used at one go is where the derivatives such as Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, and Eight Trigrams One-Hundred Twenty-eight Palms comes into play.

For example, Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms a derivatives of gentle-fist where the user closes sixty-four of the victim's tenketsu.

Neji was able to shut down all of Naruto's tenketsu by using Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms.

Himawari only shut down a single of Naruto's tenketsu, which suggest she only used a single palm strike.

Both attacks are similar because, both are in the end, a gentle-fist technique. The difference is that Neji's gentle-fist inflicted damages on more tenketsu.

Do you get it?

Do you get it?

- First of all GF is a taijutsu style incorporating various techniques.

- Second, none of the eigth trigrams palm techniques have the same effect as Himawari's.

- Third, Hinata didn't identify the attack as any of the eight trigrams palm techniques. But she did identify it as a sudden stop of tenketsu as well as its effects which again were entirely different from any of the eight trigrams palm technique.

She even used one such attack herself in Sasuke shinden and her opponent was knocked out for an entire day...

You must be registered for see images

Ofc, shinden is not canon but she used the same attack we've seen Himawari use.

- Fourth, Naruto was in fact down for a day which confirms that the attack was real.

- Fifth, just cuz all eight trigrams palm techniques work similarly doesn't mean that every GF technique has to work the same and so the effects of closing the tenketsu doesn't have to be same either cuz there could be many other variables involved like the amount of chakra passed and the tenketsu hit etc. Which Himawari's attack clearly proves.

So your attempts at trying to prove them to be the same attacks simply cuz they all work by blocking the tenketsu is nothing but hilarious and stupid cuz the manga confirms them to be different as explained.

At Bold,
>Eighty Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms shuts down the victim's tenketsu.
>Himawari's technique shut down Naruto's tenketsu
>Darth Hideous, muhh they're different.

"Fourth, Naruto was in fact down for a day which confirms that the attack was real."

Implying i said it was not real. Or do you think because I said it was a comic relief, I meant it was not real?

"so the effects of closing the tenketsu doesn't have to be same either"

She literally used her palm, which took on a gentle-fist stance. That implies it was a gentle-fist related technique.

"So your attempts at trying to prove them to be the same attacks simply cuz they all work by blocking the tenketsu"

Implied faceplam.
You're probably that person that thinks Sasuke's fireball and Madara's great flame is not fire because both are used differently.

Hima did with one shit what genin Neji couldn't do with 64

the fact that the anime mentions the byakugan incident 3 times (not including the Hima chapter adaptation - episode 18) means that it is significant

No it doesn't. One Piece constantly uses comedic traits to genuinely move the plot along, if not the fights. Like making a joke out of Kaku being able to shove his neck into his body. And don't even get me start on Sanji and Duval's relationship. Could these things translate to Naruto and come out feeling natural? No because they are not the same series.

Sakura's inner self and Naruto's harem technique accomplishing their intended motives made sense.

lol This guy is now trying to argue inner Sakura was a "totally srs" plot element and not a plot device to give Sakura a draw.

Himawari hitting Naruto with a technique he has tanked before, and getting knocked out does not make sense.

Not the same technique. 64 Palms subdues the opponent, it's not meant to knock the opponent out. Himawari knocked him out.
Why, because it was a comic relief.

Right, and Kiba getting beaten by a fart isn't valid because it was comic relief.

Also, like I said before, where are you getting that it was comic relief when the panel of Himawari attacking Naruto does not depict anything close to such a thing (giant circular white eyes)?

I see you don't understand how analogy works.

"lol This guy is now trying to argue inner Sakura was a "totally srs" plot element and not a plot device to give Sakura a draw."

In other words, you can't read.

"Not the same technique. 64 Palms subdues the opponent, it's not meant to knock the opponent out. Himawari knocked him out."

They both freaking shut down the victim's tenketsu, and nothing else.I'm literally aching with the amount of times I have cringed. This site has some really dumb people.

Even the wiki mentioned Himawari used a gentle-fist technique, and it is oversee by Selentau who holds more credibility than everyone here considering the amount of works she has translated.

Why? because it shut down Naruto's tenketsu, which is what a gentle-fist does if it is used on people.

Only people on this site says otherwise. Narutobase needs cleansing.
