You should. It's one of most polished FPS' that I've played. I rate it a 9.5/10.

I imagine it being better seeing as everyone says the same. I wouldn't know, though, seeing as I've never played it.

The mechanics in 1.6 make overall a better game. You know, things like ADADADA, spamming, recoil&spread system etc. make GO more luck-based. In csgo you are left wondering what bullsh1t the opponent pulled off by running across long with a cz holding m1 and getting a random hs on you. They removed wall banging in GO and so on.

Don't get me wrong, I like playing GO but it's just not as good as cs 1.6. I wish they would make a remake of 1.6 just with updated graphics.

Ah, I see. Seems like a great FPS. And there is still wall-banging. I don't know. Something about CS:GO interests me. The skins too. I should try 1.6 and see how it is.

Yeah but how does it compare to insurgency? The whole no aim down sight thing seems to kill such a tactical fps. sure, i LOVE valve games, and half life is fine because its not at all tactical, nor is left for dead. But in such a heavy pvp game, it just seems to take the feel out of it. I love insurgency because its effectively a cs:go mod (even if not exactly a mod) and it has slightly larger maps and a bit more "tactical" elements to it. What are your thoughts

I've never actually played Insurgency, but it's something that you need to try out for yourself. It's a game that you either love or you don't. I strongly recommend it. If I try Insurgency out and see how it's like I'll tell you how it compares to CS:GO, if you'd like.

works for me. But be advised, their is the mod (a straight up mod of counter strike) called "insurgency: modern infantry" or something. Then there's the standalone (still a source game) called "insurgency". Try the latter one.
