What Is Sharingan? Sharigan literally meaning "Mirror Wheel Eye"is a dojutsu kekkei genkai possessed by members of the uchiha clan from konohakagure, it is capable of seeing ones chakra flow, allowing the user to differentiate one type of chakra or another, it also grants the user an increased level of perception, though still slightly inferior to the byakugan in that regard, the sharigan allows one to see through genjutsu and also to cast genjutsu on an opponent. The sharingan is divided into 3 tomoe, from 1 to 3rd each giving the user increased abilities as the tomoe increases. It is now furthely broken down into the mangekyo sharigan and the eternal mangekyo sharigan, the mangekyo sharingan is awakened through the trauma experienced from the death of a person very close to the the user, on most occasions the user must have witnessed the experience first hand,

What Can the third tomoe do specifically? It can perceive motions, copy the motions perceived, and predict motions, it can also break b rank Genjutsu and lower and last but not the least it can copy opponents jutsu excluding kg/ha

Tell me what separates two tomoe Sharingan from three tomoe Sharingan. What is essentially the benefit of activating the three tomoe Sharingan instead of simply continuing to use the two tomoe Sharingan?

Brilliant question sensei, well the thing is the third tomoe givess added advantages from the 2tomoe one being the reaction speed of the user is increased byX3 rather than x2 in the case of the two tomoe, it also allows the user to dispell visual based genjutsu brank and below , a step higher than the two tomoe where the user is only limited to breaking visual genjutsu up to c rank, and last but not the least it allows you to copy techniques,handseals, etc.

You are correct, but you missed some key points. The three tomoe does give increased perception, but it does not increase reaction speed. What I mean by this is that though you can see things that are happening around you and you can perceive the motions, you cannot react to things that you could not have reacted to if you had two tomoe. It does not give you an increase in speed or increase your pure reflexes allowing you to counter the things you perceive, but only allows you to see and analyze things at a greater level. But if you are both able to perceive the motions, and already possess the necessary reaction speed to counter, three tomoe gives you a great advantage. The fact that is allows you to break visual illusions up to B-rank is simple. It basically renders visual illusions B-rank and below useless as you can pierce through them. But you still have to reason as to how you figure out it was an illusion before you just say my Sharingan breaks through it. And the last point, I think that's important is that, though yes it does allow you to copy, it more importantly allows you to predict. This is probably the most important advancement of the Sharingan through its stages. The three tomoe allows you to predict your opponents next movement based on their previous movement. This will allow you to create strategies and react faster (because you already know what is going to happen, you can start reacting earlier than if you didn't, making it seem as though you react faster).

As you put the blindfold across my eyes i blink my eyes activating my 2 tomoe sharingan in the process, then with the usage of my sharingan i see the your body flow of chakra and your chakra being infused with ninja tools prompting me of an attack to come. Seeing the chakra signatures of the kunai coming i lean backwards to the ground dodging the incoming kunais in the process.

As i take the blindfold off i see six clones of yourself that have surrounded me, i find this strange as i didn't notice you performing any seals required to create the clones , so with the use of my sharingan i see my chakra flow and notice the presence of foreign chakra in it, and then i use my sharingan to pierce through the genjutsu ,freeing me of its grip.

Impossible. Sharingan doesn't allow you to defy common sense. The simpler solution usually always wins out. The amount of stuff you would need to do before I simply redirect your momentum is too much. Plus, that move breaks the time frame.

That was his three tomoe Sharingan. As I mentioned before only it gives the ability to predict. And Sasuke was responding to Naruto attacks meaning his body was stable and he took actions according to what he thought Naruto would do. But in this case you're trying to slam your elbow into me, thus you are already performing an action that uses a majority of your body. All I do is just catch the arm, and let you go pass me with the elbow. You can't physically stop your motion just because you see me do something.
