Crunchyroll Vs. Funimation

So I'm already subscribed to Crunchyroll and I like but just got into Tokyo Ghoul and realize its only on Funimation. I was browsing some of Funimations anime choices and they look a lot grittier and actiony than what I see on Crunchyroll. I wish I could choose both but don't have the time or money.
What are your guys preferences between the two? And why?

Because I like to pay for things that I appreciate and want to contribute to the industry.
