Most free trials are like that. I'm sure you clicked past the fine print where you agreed to automatically be charged monthly after the trial ends.
At least it was something relatively inexpensive. If they have a contact number for membership, you might be able to get a refund if you're willing to sit on hold until you talk to someone.
