As the illusion is casted onto koto, her eyes quickly shot around the area in attempts to observe what was happening. Soon she caught a glimpse of flames above her in the form of a massively sized ball. With her eye prowess, she quickly was able to see through the illusion due to it being visual and of adequate rank (C rank compared to her 2 tomoe). Her eyes quickly "pierced" through the illusion, dispersing the flames as it neared her, and making the affects of it void in almost an instant.

I cast a genjutsu onto you making you see an illusionary clone that runs towards you then he jumps and explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals blocking your vision of me in the genjutsu however in reality i simply throw a kunai towards you.

As yet another illusion was casted, Koto observes extremely close to the details around her. A clone was immediately created, with no smoke visually present and not a single hand seals woven together. This was already sketchy but maybe sensei was a very rare practitioner of the clone techniques where she could use it so easily. Koto then focused her sights on the clone who had exploded into a flurry of pedals that attempted to obscure her vision. She'd immediately begin to pierce through the pedals with her ocular prowess, taking note of it being an illusion and noticing a single kunai incoming. She wasn't able to pierce the kunai with her eyes, thus confirming it wasn't an illusion and was the real thing. She'd quickly and nonchalantly use her left hand to catch the kunai directly before it could actually hit her.​

Awesome next also gonna speed this up so just pretend the second gen starts as soon as you break he first ^^

I run towards you while summoning a sword, then i move it with an irregular pattern, weaving it randomly in the air as i'm running towards you causing you to hallucinate multiple waving arms and not know where the sword is coming from, then i perform a horizontal slash from the right to the left to me.

As Korra says this, a bean sprout begins to grow around you as Korra seemingly disappears from sight. The bean sprout traps Madara, tightly binding him and lifting him up into the air as a bean pod opens behind him, revealing Korra, sword drawn and ready to slit your throat.

Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

As you run towards Koto, she notices you draw a sword so she makes sure to keep her crimson eyes on you in order to track what you'll do within short range. She definitely didn't want to be caught off guard. Once you started waving the sword, she'd begin seeing multiples, so she'd focus harder to try to keep track properly. With her eyes focusing, she soon pierces the illusion, forcing the additional swords to vanish, leaving the single sword slashing towards her horizontally. She'd quickly grab her war fan, having the fan portion pointed downwards vertically in order to intercept and block the slash before it could strike.


Directly after trying to defend, Koto notices several bean vines erupting around her and tangling around her limbs, effectively immobilizing her in a moment's notice. She had been trapped in many illusions thus far, so she shot her eyes downwards and noticed her chakra flow was off so she knew she was in yet another one. She focused once again to pierce the visual portion of the illusion, seeing through the vines and making them disappear, though she seemed to be immobilized still. She'd suddenly release an unfocused burst of electricity from all over her body, breaking the illusion and capturing her sensei in a paralyzing field of electricity.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Description: The user will use their Sharingan to cast an illusion upon the opponent by looking them into their eyes; this illusion makes the enemy fall asleep but makes them think they are still watching the opponent without realizing they have fallen asleep.
Note: Requires direct eye contact with tomoe 3 Sharingan.

Should you enter short range of a foe and they fail to keep their eyes off your's, then this is an ideal jutsu to use if you intend to capture your enemy. Causing them to fall asleep while still thinking they are awake, you can effectively kidnap them if used properly and in conjunction with other jutsus.

Alright, I think I'm doing this? I saw Riker say he was just kidding or something. So I'm just gonna post here anyway.

I'm pretty particular about Sharingan training. So we'll pick up at the start of 3T and recap on the abilities of the Sharingan. Then we'll move into the basic Sharingan techniques (Copy, Heaven and Earth Change), then we'll wrap up with a sorting of the illusions into types (requires eye contact, requires no eye contact). All the Sharingan illusions are very basic, so I feel it is more productive to just categorize them. I know you've already did a little bit of the basics for the 3T, but I'd prefer to just run through them really quick to make sure we're on the same page.

Anyways, the basic questions. At what level can the 3T Sharingan track at? Does greater equate to being able to counter taijutsu movements significantly faster than your own? And what sort of movement can it track? By this I mean the simplicity of the movement: can it track only linear actions? Or can it track complex nonlinear taijutsu?

It can track both. Whether it is linear or complex, as long as it doesn't exceed the tracking speeds the 3T can keep up with (3×). Good. Those were suitable answers. These are the final recap questions. Then we're going to go through the Sharingan Illusions rather quickly, categorizing them into three separate groups. And then we'll do the "special" Sharingan techniques.

Anyways, the Sharingan can perceive chakra? To what extent can this occur? You don't have to get super specific but think about other Doujutsu, like the Byakugan in particular. And how does the Sharingan see other chakra natures? And finally, what do you know about the hypnotic abilities of the Sharingan? This is probably the hardest concept for Sharingan training as it isn't actually a technique or laid out skill.

Uh not sure how to answer this lol It can perceive it visually to the point that the Sharingan has psuedo X ray vision per se. Like it can see chakra within smoke or behind objects that aren't too large or thick. Like seeing a build up of chakra beneath the surface of the ground for example. Although it doesn't grant you any type of visual clarity or enhancement rivaling the hyuga (like telescopic vision and legit x ray vision and seeing 360 degrees). I think that's what you meant, yeah?

how does the Sharingan see other chakra natures?

Basically by the way they "flow" or "act". Like fire would be wild, water chakra would smoothly flow, earth chakra rugged, lightning vibrating etc. Basically each element, advanced element etc have specific and unique characteristics that the Sharingan is able to pick up on.

what do you know about the hypnotic abilities of the Sharingan?

Not much tbh lol I read it along time ago but haven't delved into it much since then. I do know that, imo, it works similar to a mini genjutsu tbh. It requires eye contact if I'm not mistaken and can hypnotize ppl to do things slightly different or make them perceive things differently time wise. Like for the former, we could be hypnotizing them while they throw a kunai, having them unconsciously throw the kunai a few inches off target. Or for the latter, it's basically like Zabuza vs Kakashi where kakashi made it seem like he was doing the techniques at the same time as zabuza. But in reality he was using hypnosis to alter his concept of time. This is cool rp wise tbvh. Chris used it on me (shady account) in a battle test, making it seem like we did our moves in the same time frame. This can legit cause some trouble if constantly and effectively used. Of course, 90% of this I'm just pulling out of my ass. T.T

So you're right that it is a lot like a mini Genjutsu. Sharingan Hypnosis is direct will manipulation on a very small scale. You're right, it's done via constant eye contact. This eye contact allows you to alter very basic aspects of perception such as time (like in your case how LoK altered how you saw your moves being performed). You can alter seals being used at the same time, which suggests you can read their mind (Zabuza). You could even alter their feelings and make suggestions in their mind. But you can't use this to bend their will or body, it's purely manipulative. This may be the strongest ability of the Sharingan and has incredible potential uses in Taijutsu, but has its place elsewhere. It's like a very small scale Yin Release technique; which really makes sense because the Sharingan is heavily based in Yin-related abilities.

Also I believe there is a rank restriction on this. You can only affect people one rank lower than you. So sages to kage, kage to sannin, etc. Good reply on everything else.

Yeah hypnosis seems pretty useful when in a cqc fight. Could really manipulate things to go your way and make it difficult to fight properly.

Nope, no eye contact. Simply requires you to have a line of sight with your target.

These two require eye contact and will be the first of the B-Ranks we do. It's really hard to make any special comment about these tbh lol. Both have some measure of movement restriction; the first being that they can't perform hand seals and the second is a full paralysis. Pretty straight forward.

Description: This is an advanced Sharingan technique the user traps the enemy in an illusion without any eye contact, similar to Ephermal. The Genjutsu traps the victim in a torrent of crows, leaving them at the users mercy.

A genjutsu that is used to blind and distract. Very useful to open up the opponent. Use this in a perfect combo with other suitable techniques against my clone.
